Yes, Lady--I understand that; however, there are people here who are adamant that kitty not be allowed to return to Switzerland. What am I to do?

This is the most difficult part of hosting this forum. I tend to grow attached to all of the people in the Swiss Family. Good, bad or indifferent; however, sometimes a family member behaves so outrageously that I am actually lobbied to ban them from our home. There are those who even threaten that if "so and so" is allowed to return, then they would leave.

I don't want anyone to leave Switzerland. The larger the family, the more fun it is and the longer the blogging hours are. I've seen many of the Swiss family come and go for different reasons--some for reasons I never understood--others for reasons I was painfully well aware of. People change...some for the better, some for the worse. I never banned anyone just once--save for those who came as marauders, causing chaos and discomfort. There was always at least one warning from Peace...sometimes two, before anyone was banned. On occasion, people were allowed back after being banned--as it was for kitty. Unfortunately, kitty had a problem and continued her bad behavior, even after being strongly warned. She hurt a lot of people, including me.

That being said, I would still give her another opportunity, were it not for the members of this family that are determined she not return. My loyalty is to those here who have been staunch Swissies--through thick and thin and through good times and not-so-good times. I have put a great deal of time and money into making Switzerland a good and comfortable place for people to "hang out" and blog about football or, in the off-season, whatever they choose. I listened to the complaints about what the Olde Swiss lacked and tried to eliminate the features Swissies complained about and to build in features that were suggested over the time Switzerland evolved. I continue to listen and try to make this place a place for everyone to enjoy. I have always welcomed everyone's suggestions and listened to any issues, striving to keep the Swiss Family happy. I am always dedicated to making this the best place on the internet to blog football.

My best wishes to kicks and the kitty for only the good things life has to offer. To the Swiss Family: I am proud to be affiliated with you all and hope to always make the right decisions and look forward to an amazing football season this coming years and throughout all the years to come. Thank you.

Okay guys (and maine, lol)--Linda left of her own volition over a year ago. It, I am sorry to say, had to do with the kitty, but I believe they finally became friends at Faux. She has stopped by a couple of times (once recently) to say hello and then left, without answering any replies. She has not been to New Switzerland (to the best of my knowledge); however, she was not banned from here, and could visit here should she wish.
