Love, love, love any and all Dolphin stories (up to the past 14 years when we dove and crashed. I was hoping there was truth to the 13-year curse on the Fins for the way they let Marino crash and burn by taking away his line and receivers; however, that 13th year came and went and we're still stuck with Ross and his bonehead choices for coaches and players. Now they've extended bonehead Philbin for a whole 'nother 2 years (even if they don't stay with it, the thought of it just makes me feel crappy to know it's on the table. (sulk sulk )

Hard to believe it was 1972 when the Dolphins had their perfect season, you also had some pretty incredible years with Marino, Clayton and Duper. When you look back on your proud history, it's difficult to accept anything less. I'm an old Baltimore Colts fan, I know the pain, having to go 13 years without a team. Well, we've now been blessed with the Ravens and hope your turnabout comes soon.

Unfortunately (and excuse me for repeating and repeating and repeating), but Ross has to go out and buy a movie studio because that's where he thinks he is, and a new owner that understands football needs to come in before we will ever improve. I just have to be happy I was here for the great years--specifically the early Marino period. Those games were amazing and there was an electrical excitement that we haven't had since. We were truly blessed...

I was totally clueless! Until kicksie finally pointed out my signature line, I'd have been walking around with the toilet paper hanging from my shoe till I changed my tag line--and who knows how I would have messed the new tag up. Thank goodness it wasn't something really nasty because everyone would have figured I meant to do it...

I became kicks in 2007 at Fox but previous to that I was someone else. Only 1 other person has ever seen this av from this site. Her name was Roxie and she hasn't posted here in years. This is vintage stuff. I mean no one remembers this av. Fox was a baby back then. Didn't even have team rooms at that time.

Fox did a horrible job of moderating. Pure crap.

That AlaskanBuckeye had mad puter skills. He could go into one of your posts and edit it to make you look like an idiot. He did make amends to me.. I was a casualty of war.. collateral damage so to speak. Still lost my starter " Status" Fox had Prospect, Rookie, Starter, Veteran, All Pro, HOF.. status.. may have missed one or two.. When a HOFer spoke (like EF Hutton).. people listened. Emeritus was way up there.. Saintsbeat.. BDK.. a lot on the CFB Div1.. ScrappyTiger (LSU).. RockyTop (Tennessee) Scalafan (Bama). Then the troll wars hit and it was like the PNW as of late.
The ones who stuck to football talk and ignored the idjits generally had higher accolades. There were those that liked fighting trolls. I didn't mind pointing out deficiencies, especially the ones that were laughable. It's a wonder I didn't have as many profiles as some drunkenbronx had. He a feisty one for sure. I guess some of my gaffs are kind of beyond their comprehension.

It was All Star. Not All Pro. Remember it well because that is what I was at one point. They had a place that you could go to to see your ranking on Fox. I was #2. Only GMT (Jayhawk fan I believe) was in front of me. We were both closing in on legend which was the highest rank of all when they killed the ranking system. I went nuts and chewed all the mods out. They deleted me and then banned my IP for a year. I was actually gone for another year just because I was still mad. Yi Rox kept asking about me from time to time so I came back.

I remember Saintsbeat asking me one time how my ranking was so high. Told him years and years of non stop posting. That's why I was so pissed when they so casually deleted my points. Fox really took the cake when it came to screwing folks over.

But now they are dead to me. And we have a better place here.

Yup. That's where GMT and I amassed our points. Rating pictures. There was a glitch (trick) in the blog section. If you rated a blog it would sometimes stick open and you could rate it multiple times. Quick way for quick points. They were hard to find though.
