Mel asked me how to get here. I gave him a map and directions. Hoping he gets on board. Out of all the places to post for him, this is the most monitored. Hoping his brother checks it out.

The Broncos want to expand Virgil Green's role in the passing game.
Green has been a strict blocker during his first four NFL seasons, totaling just 23 catches. But he has the athletic skill set to contribute as a receiver and now Julius Thomas is gone. Green will be an in-line blocker that will compete with veteran Owen Daniels for a share of the catches Thomas left behind. A bump to 30-40 grabs is possible in Gary Kubiak's TE-friendly scheme.

...it's what we've all been saying. I still think Denver needs a TE in the draft (as is evident with my selection of two in my Broncos' mock) to replace Daniels in the not-so-distant-future. I expect Green to emerge as a top 10 TE this season, but wouldn't be surprised to see him top 5 either.

You very well could be right as Kubiak uses tight ends a lot more than most teams in his offensive scheme
