He's good but I think he should have had one more reasonable contract before going all the way to the top. Oakland could pay for this in the future if they can't afford to keep talent around him and he doesn't continue improving. They also can't be sure how healthy he will be this year after his season ending injury last year. Seems like to risky of a move to me.

Doss has the reps under his belt and has looked at least as good as Webster, and getting better every year. The only way I see him dressing over Doss, is if Langley beats out the other 75 guys for the punt return job. The good news is, if either Harris or Talib go down, or even both, it won't be as devastating as it would be to any other team. Thank you Mr. Elway for having such wonderful "Depth" perception.
I don't think they're as high on him or they wouldn't have brought in Harris-Lewis. He (H-L) will be the #4 that's why they brought him in IMO. But Doss will be 5 and make the 53 They will keep 5 db and 4 safeties.
Yes Doss and Langley will make the 53, but they only dress 46 on game day, and that will be only 4 CBs. Seems to me that they gave up on Nixon (he didn't continue to progress like Doss), and brought in Harris-Lewis ( A Vance Joseph guy) only for camp fodder. Harris-Lewis will not be kept over Doss an established "No Fly Zoner" or Langley, a 3rd round pick imo.

Not Denver but a good, realistic look at the issues around Carr's contract. Even if he does play well, the contract is going to hurt Oakland in the long run. It just becomes harder and harder to keep quality players around a high priced QB. and the haven't pay Mack yet!

Jon Heath ask is TJ Ward playing his last season as a Bronco I think if he plays well and takes less he stays but the team drafted to replace him and there is a URFA who I think makes a run at the 53

Now Carr is formally a legend in his own mind.....I hope he bombs as cocky as he's gotten.
Lol, did you see the interview where when asked what he was going to spend his money on and he said chick-fila? And he might get his wife something nice but she still collects coupons?

That's good to hear. The competition should bring out the best in both. Lynch will benefit from a higher ceiling. Also not surprised to learn he improved more in a year than Siemian did given that Siemian is already near his own ceiling. Hopefully they each push each other further over the coming weeks. Would like to see Kelly heal up and get some reps in there also.

so we're in the dead zone now with nothing to talk about. Here is the latest on the Siemian Lynch duel with this writer being a Siemian fan

I'm sure he can find someone. There are plenty of options on this team and rookies/practice squaders will probably take him up on the offer

I for one, am happy to announce that "Miller Time" has been posted for the NFL's top 100 players.
as if we didn't know.
Sadly, the other players nominated some 6th round draft pick ahead of Von. Who is that nobody?

Good to see him getting his dues. He was in the top 10 right? I thought so but couldn't remember for sure.

Wow, all these reports coming out now that Lynch has lept over Seimian, I hope that's the case as that would mean our QB play has improved from last year. It's just hard to tell right now with where we are in the process. We still have a lot of offseason left and I'm not ready to crown anyone a starter yet.

a first round pick that is a QB is a bust if he isn't ready to start the first or second season. The Broncos moved up to get Lynch so he has to be ready to play this season. He can't let a 7th rounder beat him out again or he's on the first train out of here. That is not just my opinion but I read that somewhere I think Woody Paige but I could be wrong. Truth is I think he was going to start even if the coaches think he is close the Siemian. Trevor was that bad last season. I stand behind my prediction of Lynch starting The rookie behind him if he's ready and if he is Siemian traded to Buffalo.

It's hard to tell how much time Elway was willing to give Lynch. Elway has said that it would take time and hasn't seemed in a hurry. We as fans want production for what we gave up to get him, and so does Elway, just on different time frames. I do think the best thing for Lynch at this point is experience. That is going to give him the best shot to improve and be ready.

I agree with you I want to see if he's the franchise QB that this team is in need of. Or will we see Kelly as the man. He is Joseph's QB after all. The only one he has drafted.

I think Kelly might take a couple of years to develop but he has all the skills of a top flight QB and the pedigree. I think if he stays out of trouble, doesn't get distracted, and works hard....this will be his team in 2-3 years. I think Lynch will be the starter this year. If not right away sometime during the season. But unless Lynch is the QB we've been waiting for, Kelly could easily take the reigns after next year.

we have another rookie on the team Sloter Northern Colorado He is a good prospect not a starter but serviceable. he could be the man that they keep on the team as the third stringer if they keep Siemian on the team. I think Lynch is the starter as I said I think Siemian was terrible last season and I don't want to watch another season of 9 in the box because they don't respect your QB throwing the ball past 8 yards. Kelly will be placed on the IR and stay there all year I believe next season If Lynch doesn't prove to be the man Kelly may get his shot. Depending on who is on the team or who is in the draft if we have a high pick.
