Icky... Classic yet elegant. They picked nice ring designs.

Hey Ck, I'm guessing after the appeal the suspension will be reduced, hard to say what effect that may play in the standings this season. The fine is insignificant, the kicker is the loss of draft picks. Still, a rather harsh penalty in the amoral society we live in today where anything goes!

cklaurence wrote:Man, they sure showed Tom Brady just how harsh cheating penalties can be. It would appear that 4 game slap on his hand will cause him to miss the entire preseason. That'll surely affect the team and Brady, huh? Not to mention that slam of a million-dollar penalty to the team. That'll smack the team's funds to next-to-nothing. Like man, WHERE IS THAT DAMNED VOMIT ICON?????
CK, might be Good Morning when you see this....
Surely you know Brady's suspension takes place in the reg season. He can participate in training camp, preseason games, etc till wk 1, reg seaaon then he is banned from all team activities till his suspension is over. I'm guessing it'll be reduced to 2 games.
Big ? to me is who hears his appeal???

Just read Goodell himself will hear Brady's appeal - I'd be shocked if it's overturned but not surprised if it's reduced. Just hope he rules quickly (he has 10 days).
Happy (Blue) Friday

When Brady and his agent commented on the Wells' Report... Wells fired back... to me the language in the report was a little too PC... Now Goodell being a fan of R Kraft after seeing the report a week before it was released told Wells to soften it up a bit... By softening it up Wells left room for some doubt as to Brady's involvement... I would have liked to have seen the language Wells used in the rough draft... There was a report that the Goodell-Kraft relationship is now strained... BS more BS and more BS.... of course they'll have to do some more of their Hollywood acting to keep up appearances..
Geaux Saints... I love me some Cajun food..

Stay tuned to the exciting off season finale of "Deflategate" brought to you by the NFL. Can Tom defend himself from the eviscerating attack levied against him from the seemingly impartial Wells and Commissioner Good? Watch Gisele kiss Tom's boo-boo giving him the strength to launch an appeal and save his reputation. Have the Krafty Patriots come up with un-refutable evidence once again to defend their pampered quarterback? Watch the thrilling and unpredictable conclusion to this dynamic drama to see justice once again handed out NFL style. Acclaimed as powerful and exciting as last season's "The Knockout" where Captain Good championed (eventually) rules against domestic abuse in the NFL, you definitely won't want to miss this final episode.

Just a quick heads up, CK has had some computer/internet issues, but it should be resolved by tomorrow.
I just wanted to let those that were wondering where she was know.

Hey Try. I know you and I are both big Survivor fans. How did you like the last series? I thought it was great. Was rooting for Mike to close it out and win. Could not stand Dan. Glad they gave him a rough time at the reunion show. Jeff basically proved he was a huge liar by replaying the unseen footage.
Next season looks great too. Have a good holiday weekend bud!

HELLO DAHLINGS! Hope you've missed me as much as I missed the gang at Switzerland! I won't take up your time by boring you with my list of reasons I've been away for so long, but I will say, I'm glad to see this place is busy as the season draws closer.
So many things are happening it seems (in all the teams)--I hope that everyone is happy with what's going on in their world. Of course, I'm feeling nothing but sheer disappointment. This year is the same as it's been every year for the past fourteen. The idiots from Ross to Philbin are already bragging about how great things are going and how wonderful the season is going to be--so we just have to listen to them go on and on and then when the season comes and we crash and burn. I don't understand why they can't learn to STFU and wait to see what the team does.
Okay, I'm through bitching for now. Keep checking in here at the Forum. Love to all!
