Hey Bags (I hope that's appropriate) I appreciate your linking me to that book, took a look and not sure I can go there just yet. Next we speak, I'd like to learn if you created that avatar, don't believe a Giants banner enclosed by the horseshoe was readily available anywhere. Also appreciated your comments to my post. As you said, sometimes you get attached to something that becomes a part of you that you will take to the grave. I posted a picture on the Ravens site that I hope you don't find offensive, just an old Colts fan finally letting bygones be bygones *sort of*. Take care, it's been great chatting with you.

HutOne, 'bags' is fine, been called a lot worse - lol! The av is a cut and paste job, my creation to rep both teams... I've heard all about 2 teams, fan of none but it works for me.
Gotcha on the book, just really wanted to let you know how much respect Indy types have for the Colts history in BALT. The pic you posted is great!
Hope things are settling down in BALT.

Hi loutex, so ready to end the 'mocks' and get to the real draft. Would love the Colts to get Landon Collins, S, AL but don't think he'll be there at 29, we'll know soon enough.

A bunch of folks are going to gather in the Switzerland forum page tonight for the draft. We figure we will all post in our own team room when its close to each teams draft pick, but for the rest of the time, we wanted to have a central location. Pass the word.

Been trying to "pass the word" kicks, lots of Colts fans had already migrated to Facebook even before the most recent change at faux. Someone posted an alternate site on the Colts page, looked at it - no thanks...

At 29, I was shocked to see L Collins (arguably the best safety in the draft), E Goldman, E Kendricks, M Brown all available. And the Colts take WR Dorsett  , maybe the 4th WR on our depth chart (our deepest position) - in the 1st round??? SMH, hated it, Peyton Manning 2.0
And all the "best player available" bs, not buying it, pure spin - arrrrgh!

We had a great time (at least I did, lol) last night on the Switzerland page last night following the draft. The virtual buffet was a huge success (at least it was for me). I really like the group that's come over here this time. It's been great meeting everyone and learning their teams. I see you're very close to "Veteran" status. Utah got his "V" last night during the party at the Swiss Forum. Missed you!!!

CK, great to see so many fans on this site  ; glad last night was a good time, quite the influx of AFC West types no doubt thanks to kicks and Utah. Haven't had time to visit many team pages but all seem like great knowledgeable fans!
Great pick by your Dolphins w/ WR D Parker!

hello there loutex! "surprised by the colts pick" - you are too kind - lol! Already made my rant, hope the next 8 picks give the D a little (make that a lot more help!). We already released J Cribbs after the Dorsett pick. Great pick by your TX's w/ CB K Johnson! G' luck to your TX squad and enjoy the rest of the draft! And, HAPPY BLUE FRIDAY to you!

Makes you wonder what the greater plan really is, or if is there a plan? I have faith in the Ravens but get a bit uneasy in the few occasions they agree with me. Last time we took the same player, he fell down the steps before training camp and broke his head. Glad they just can't write out a check for those they like, just like in baseball. I love parity, but hate seeing all that talent go before our # comes up. Hope your wish comes true in the following rounds, I'm staying quiet.

Greetings Bags and thank you, this will be my second season posting on-line and find it to be an enjoyable pastime **addiction**. Aside from football, the enjoyment comes from meeting fans like yourself and Lou. Not many fans on either of our sites but find the fans in Switzerland are cordial and entertaining.
Good luck in the last four rounds, these are just as important as the 1st. Not sure about the Colts, but the Ravens seem to find at least one gem in the undrafted pool each year. Then we turn into scavengers looking for talent other teams pare down. Great sport!!! Take care!

HutOne, only your second season posting on line, wow, you're a quick study, commenting like you've done it for years - a natural! I posted on faux for maybe 9 years, never lost a profile, just never found the envelope to push - lol!
UFA's, one of my fav's in the aftermath of the draft. J Saturday, G Brackett, Vinatieri, amazing the players that have gone undrafted.
Ravens getting high grades for your draft, g' luck in a tough div....

Evening Bags! Once again, thank you for those kind words  now look, you've got me blushing! Did a walkabout the various sites and really didn't see many that weren't pleased with the way that their drafts came out. Of course the youngsters now have to live up to our expectations! You're wise to wait until January to hand out your report card. Yet hope springs eternal with the draft, I'm sure Lou is ready to have his Texans take on your Colts as I am to have the Ravens take charge of the AFC North. The better the rivalries, the better the games, add in good sports fans from both teams and you've got great football!!!
I see you're at 495, I know you believe in quality posts and aren't concerned with quantity, but c'mon, for Kicks and CK why not a quick count down to 500? I'm sure CK will put out another spread with refreshments to celebrate!!! Congrats and enjoy, oh, and don't forget to invite Lou and myself!!!

You know they'll be a huge celebration at Switzerland Forum when Ms Bags hits 500,, Hut! We'll be popping champagne corks. along with beer bottles and whatever else Ms Bags' might desire. You know, she was one of the original bloggers at the old Switzerland. If we were counting the old archived posts prior to 2010 she'd be way over 500. Switzerland was formed in (I believe) 2007, about the time my first book came out. She has one of the nost rational minds here and when she posts, it's always worth reading. She is very dear to me--as I suppose everyone here, new and old, knows.
Weather report: At nearly 630 a.m. we on Miami Beach have a nice rain going on. It was really hot and dry (but humid) throughout the month of April, but May has so far been much cooler and more comfortable. I think Mom Nature got her months mixed up and gave us May in April and April in May. I'm not complaining here. Soon enough it'll be brutal here and I dread it! We're pretty damned lucky compared to what's going on in the rest of the Country...

HutOne, I wasn't a big fan of the Colts draft  (WR in round 1 = Peyton Manning 2.0 *sigh). Draft grade was awful, maybe 31st but then again M Kiper thought we should have taken Leaf over Manning and that same Kiper gave the Seahawks a D- for 2011's draft (the year they drafted R Sherman) and we know how that turned out. I'm just a wait and see kind of fan... Totally agree on the rivalries, think the AFC South will be much more competitive this season, hope so.
Have a great day!
