Hey Lou, What you said!!! As soon as the regular season ends, I begin to wonder how the Ravens will improve their team next season. We're not big players in free agency so it's hard to see all that talent being shuffled around and not participate. Of course that gets me pumped up for the draft. Everyone we pick is a superstar and I can't wait to see them perform with the big boys. We then get to lift the spirits of a few undrafted agents that will be given a chance to exhibit their skills in a pro type environment. Most unfortunately are there to assist in the training camp process, but you root for them all. Finally comes the time when the fate of these players are learned as the rosters are pared down. Still there is hope as all teams look for a gem other teams just don't have room for or have found someone slightly better. In truth, for every new body we bring in, we're saying goodbye to a player we've rooted for in the past. Then let the games begin. There's lags between these events of course, but you will find no other sport that can keep their fans entertained the entire year. This is a great sport, and parity keeps the playing field equal on any given Sunday.
Yeah, I'm pumped!!!

WELL SAID HUT!! I THINK BOTH TEAMS DID GOOD IN THE DRAFT AND DEFENTLY IMPROVED THIER TEAMS WITCH HAS ME PUMPED FOR THINGS TO GET GOING AGAIN...THE DRAFT ALLWAYS GETS ME FIRED UP FOR MORE FOOTBALL..NO MATTER WHAT HAPPEN THE YEAR BEFORE!! IT IS A SPORT THAT YOU CAN NOT TAKE FOR GRANTED BASED ON LAST YEARS PLAY...CAUSE ON ANY GIVEN YEAR THERE ARE SURPRISES THAT TAKE PART AND YOU KNOW IT COULD BE YOUR TEAMS TIME TO MAKE IT BIG!! :) :) :) SO LETS GET THIS YEAR SHOW ON THE ROAD !! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?? HELL YA!!

Ok, I've gone through the rankings of the 19 undrafted free agents the Ravens invited to camp and will likely post that tomorrow. I found 5 quite intriguing that could likely stay on the practice squad if not join the 53 itself.

GOOD MORNING RAVENS FANS AND FRIENDS!!! ***as I intend to sleep in late***

I was happy with our Draft picks. I think we're going to have a pretty darn good offense this season!

Have a great day everyone!

Of the 19 undrafted free agents the Ravens invited to camp, these seem the ones most likely to have a chance to sign onto the team or practice squad:

Player Pos Rank Pos Rk

Darryl Baldwin OT 237 20 Better than Hurst's rankings last year, seems Oz has found his replacements for next year
Nick Easton C 295 9 Gradkowski's replacement?
Julian Wilson CB 301 35 After last year, better keep him
Trey DePriest ILB 321 15 Not sure where he would fit in
Nick Perry FS 347 15 Competition for another team weakness
Kaleb Johnson OT 447 26 Just a hunch
Justin Manton K 223 1 Competition for Koch?
Terrance Magee RB 186 18 Another small back, look out Touissant

It was nice waking up without that damn jackass hee-hawing and making a ruckus. Was out burying his few remains, even said a few words over the critter. Can't remember the words exactly because the dragon got sick half way though. That mule was tough till the end!

Late in the day and getting ready to head to NY for the w/e but had to recognize a great player calling it quits.
9 time Pro Bowler, 8 time All Pro, SB Champ, AFC Def Player of the year, etc..
Props to Ed Reed, he was a joy to watch, a great talent for your Ravens, will miss him in the NFL, g' luck to him in retirement.

What fun. Enjoy NY. NYC or upstate?

Hadn't heard about Ed Reed. Awesome player. He will be in the hall shortly, I am sure.

I heard his retirement broadcast on the afternoon drive. Of course I loved him before because he was one of the guys from The U, but listening to him speak was a rare pleasure. He was humble and sweet, along with having been an amazing player. We need more gentlemen like him to play football in the NFL. It's good to know that someone can play clean games and go for the win as he did! I will miss him...
