Hang in there kiddo. It can't go on forever. But I agree my house had a soft spot for the Fins for many years, in fact my wife brings them up every so often and asks what ever happened with them? She is a part time fan the last several years. Actually our last SB implosion (caused IMO more by the disappearance of our All Pro center and no one even knowing until the last second IF he would show up, much less where he was? more than even the incompetence of Bill Callasham), then with Al passing when the team finally got back on track in 2011 its taken til now to actually enter the season with true and realistic optimism. The Fins will return, just a matter of when, not if. But I totally get it, once you have ridden the Pipeline paddling out at Seal Beach ain't the same deal at all. lol You just stay a doll and a fan. Its all good.

Good afternoon Nation.

About everyone I know, (including all the guys that I still have contact with from Fox days) wanted Karl Joseph-Safety as our first pick. We got that so everything else is icing. This being the only hole we had anywhere was at safety (especially with CWood retiring, he played in a league of his own any way though so there is no replacing him) and this kid has a little of Black Jack Tatum in him so hes a natural. A+
Round 2, Pick 44: Jihad Ward, DL, Illinois this pick shocked me. But I'll wait and see just wth is what. C-?
Round 3, Pick 75: Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan St, this is a great pick and surprised he wasn't out 2nd rd guy and that he was available. A
Round 4, Pick 100: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan St another great pick especially this late and they shafted Jerrah and the Chefs. Great physical tools and if he gets comfortable and the need arises he can play a similar style to Derek. B+
Round 5, Pick 143: DeAndre Washington, RB, Texas Tech He can sure run and he can catch, hard to tackle and a fire hydrant RB. B+
Round 6, Pick 194: Cory James, LB, Colorado St this is grand theft getting this guys this late. He does everything very well. A
Round 7, Pick 234: Vadal Alexander, G, LSU This is far grander theft finding Vadal this far into the draft. Watch this kid play, either G or T he is a monster. A+

Yes he certainly was one of a kind. He was really the star of the show and kept shocking the world. Even some of the people around him were just different. Always great to see you still keeping the fire bright for your Fins. All the best, always.

Wanted to thank Raiders friends and fans for keeping this place going during the offseason. As preseason grows close, I anticipate it will get busier here. So many changes have been made, I can't wait to see which teams are going to come out on top. I just couldn't stand the thought of another Brady/Patriot year. My dream is to see them taken out early. That's my dream every year though, so I'm not counting on it, lol.
