Goodell wants to reduce preseason games....it's about time. All they do is get people hurt in games that don't matter.

Yes but at the same time raise the number of regular season games. This is still a way to make money for the Owners they have been trying to raise the number of games to 18 for sometime now. Goodell is a slick business man and he's trying to get the public on his side before the contract negotiations even begin. It worked for him in May when he gave the taxpayers 724,000 back that the NFL got from the military. But he never said anything of the 5 million the owners receive from the military every year since 2009. Anyway The NFLPA will not want to give him another regular season game in exchange for fewer preseason games. At least in the preseason the stars don't play.

At this point they are wanting to reduce preseason games while maintaining a 16 game regular season.

Lynch starts the second game so it still is up in the air. I still think Kelly will end up the man next year. He'll probably be redshirted this year.

He is and probably will be moved to IR when the season starts.....essentially a red shirt year.

Not sure if you know Sandy Clough but he is pretty credible and he doesn't report on thing unless he knows it's true. He is the one who broke the story. Most of the writers here in the city are thinking Elway is trying to keep it from his QB's that he is unhappy with their play. They all say Sandy wouldn't make things up. Frankly I tend to believe Sandy. Someone leaked that he had inquired about the QB.

Elway has always stated that he would bring in anyone that could better the team if the price was right. Why would he deny doing just that if the deal isn't even in play anymore?

My thoughts are Elway didn't want to worry his QB's on the team. He has told them he believes in them then turns and tries to trade for another QB. This would make him untrustworthy to the players on the team and when he says you are fine who would believe him. Just my thoughts for a man who trust no one

we're just playing the bears but the defense looks good Crick playing better in the run defense. First offensive play a sack but siemian came back 2 plays later with a first down pass.

I agree Lynch is just as bad he is with the second and third units. but the bears are playing their 2's & 3's also. the only TD of the night DEFENSE.
