The only reason I'm winning in FFL is Joe didn't play this week. I'm getting killed.

Nice! Pleasantly surprised with Oz. Have to say he did a good job. Think the coaching was good. They played to his strengths. Time will tell. Must have felt nice to get that first win, and on his birthday no less.
I know 1 game doesn't make or break a player, but I would think that winning has to boost his confidence more than losing. Obviously!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Icky, Glenn is alive! Whoo hoo!

Not a pro-bowl performance but I'll take it. No turnovers and the Broncos ran the ball nicely. I think this was the first game this year where we did not have a turnover. That's awesome, and the D takes 2 interceptions. Would have liked to see more sacks considering Oz took 5, but oh well.
Now on the pats. Is Manning 100%? if not, do we play him at 90%? This game is going to be tough no matter who we put under center. I guess we will just have to see what Kubs says about Manning's status for this week. My guess is he dresses as the No2.

Lol, it's fine. I figured since he never appeared on Talking Dead.

As for Peyton. I only want the Peyton back that demolished Green Bay. Not skinny arm or high pitched voice Peyton.

Sorry Springs, major oops. On the bright side, it happens right at the beginning. The rest of the show will still balloon into a surprise.

per ESPN, Manning will be resting another week. Looks like it will be Brock time in Mile High against the Pats.

Still not 100% sure of Oz as our future QB but I think he's a better option than Manning. The fact he had ZERO interceptions says volumes in my book. Manning was horrible with INT's this year.
I can't believe I'm saying this but Brock gives us a better chance. Manning isn't going to get any younger. Brady will be done in a few years (his BS about playing 10 more years is just BS). I think when he goes, so goes the hoodie and they slink back to non existence. Maybe in a few years, Oz can be "the man" in the league.

Would not mind seeing Manning get the all time record win but I would rather see the team do well. Have to back the best interest of the team and not just 1 player.

As we have seen, the drop off with athletes happens suddenly and it's drastic. 2 years ago Manning was MVP, now look. The same will happen to Brady. The body just can't do it forever. Manning wasn't the first to have this sort of thing happen and he wont be the last.

I'm sure that Manning will start at least 1 more game this season and win. Just not gonna be this week.

One thing is for sure. Our offensive line allowed 5 sacks yesterday. Chicago had 15 sacks coming into the game....now they have 20. Denver accounts for 25% of Chicago's total sack count for the year. And the bears aren't a sacking team this year. If we don't fix that awful line we have next year it won't matter who is QB going forward.

No interceptions OUTSTANDING!!
Now here's how we beat the Pasties Team Tackle Tommy. It's Miller Time!!

I would say, as a group we have sucked pretty bad the last couple of weeks, but I have seen several and even larger groups, doing just as bad. This is a screwy year fer sher !

If we're going with aliases, I'll use, " Bad Brad from Carlsbad " has a ring to it
Or we can go with my Porn name ( first pet name and first street name ), " Blitz Colorado "
I had a Dobie named Blitz when I grew up on Colorado River Blvd.

Coach Fox: “I thought we paid you off?” Refs : “You did”
Below are my Standard Issue notes from the un-Foxy win.
That was 1st game of the year where I felt we stuck to a game plan.
Brutton’s massive hit on the WR won the game (it just did ok)
I love how Daniels just lowers his shoulders & plows over guys.
The Bears logo in Army green and grey looks like a raccoon.
Osweiler & Hillman’s legs are probably too different for clean hand offs.
Standard heroes: Ward, Miller, Roby, and Manning for throwing 0 picks.
The Miller strip/sack/interception looked like a video game glitch.
When Talib got into it again I thought “no poke, no poke…”
I do not miss Coach Fox’ dumb stares into space at all.
Looks like Latimer found a ‘loop hole’ out of Manning’s dog house.
Ward was everywhere at once. It was like he had a teleporter.
Brock Osweiler’s master should consider customizing his choker.
