Well Mr. Osweiller, here is the chance you've been waiting four years for. Make the most of it kid. Don't let the fact that we are on our fourth left tackle, be an excuse to fail. Don't let the fact that you won't have Mr. 3rd down Sanders today, get you down. Don't let the fact that you are being given a rag tag scheme, that was tweaked weekly to accommodate a deteriorating Manning, deter you dream. THIS IS YOUR DREAM, your time to take the bull by the horns. Rise above all of this, like you tower over the D- line. Shine like a STAR, in SPITE of all this. Today you are the starting QB for the DENVER BRONCOS! Today is your chance to PROVE YOU BELONG!!!
GO GET IT BROCK !!!

I hope you're right Icky. It's just the QB play. I hope Oz plays well enough I'll start calling him Brock. Kinda like Mr. McManus. It wasn't to long ago I referred to him in a more derogatory manner.....lol

Just a little pep talk Ute. I know he won't see it, but I hope someone is talking to him like that. Be nice if it came from Peyton, but I doubt Manning feels that way.

I think they were talking long ago if they are to talk now.

Oz might straighten this mess out. But I see glaring deficiencies in most of our offense this year. Starting with our line and tight end play. But Oz might be the type of QB who can be versitile enough to work with it anyway. Today isn't the deal breaker for him but it is an indication at least. I doubt Manning will come back next week against NE either unless Kubiak is an idiot. You need a healthy QB against them and we'll at least get a flavor if Oz is the mid to long term answer by then. Remember though.....the Bears have been steam rolling decent teams as of late and it's John Fox and Cutler. I just hope Oz shines and Jay Cutler is the same old Cutler we all know....lol. An int machine at the worst possible moments.

I hear ya Bud. I think, if they use him right, he can do it. I say, Go deep early to DT. He can beat any Bear DB and won't have to worry about the butterfly balls, and be able to catch them in stride. This will move the Safties over the top. Then use the mismatches Green and Davis will create against the line backers, to keep them honest. We do that, and our RBS will have a great chance to be a factor. I believe Brock's ability to move in and out of the pocket will buy him time to make this happen. I'm looking for a lot of roll outs, and step ups. This, I believe, is the formula.
As far as Cutler goes, I see Von, Shaq, and Shane putting him in meltdown mode. We all know how Jay reacts to pressure. The No Fly Zone will be getting a few today because of it. What we need to see is, Sly, Malik, and Wolfe coming up big against the run. Danny and B-Marsh need to be a factor too

Hey Big Mac, If you pop your head in, I'd really like to hear what you think about my formula below. Heck, I'd like to hear what any of you guys think about it. ;)

I think you are right. As far as the defense goes....they have an exceptional offense line. But as you say....Cutler folds if he gets pressure. To stop the run game we need inside pressure....but that frees Cutler up a lot. I saw swarm him with outside and strong side pressure and rattle him. He's famous for losing games mentally.

As far as our offense? We need Oz to have a good game. I expect play action options for runs and passing plays. I think we'll lean toward the run out of the gate in order to establish the run game and give Oz safe plays so he might not get rattled. Then I expect crossing routes and roll out plays. He's a green QB and has his feet to the fire today.

Unless you have retired from the internet for good. Please post your opinion. I have the "dog" thought process........If you can't eat it? Screw it?....Then piss on it and call it good. If you are tired of arguing with someone do as I usually do.....post around them in an annoying manner....lol

Wade Phillips is doing a great job. No questions. Kubiak's offense and special teams play discipline isn't good. I'm not impressed.

Daniels looks old, slow, and feeble. Green woulda had 20 on that one. Daniels has been dropping a lot too. Need me some more Green and Davis

Solid first half by Brock. Nice to see some mobility at the position, been a long while. Clock management at the end of the half was kinda shaky. Woulda liked to see a bit more sense of urgency. Think we coulda had a couple more shots at the end zone. So far so good, 13-17 144 yards and a TD. No Ints. I'll take the 81 yards rushing too. :D
