I was saying half way through the 3rd quarter, that win or lose, nobody effected the game like Von had.

It was just a great defensive game last night. Everyone was foreseeing this high scoring game on the part of the panthers, but they never played a team with a defense like Denver's during the regular season. The panther's D was good too but you can't shut Manning out forever. He will eventually score, and when your defense and special teams are setting you up it makes it that much easier. You could see the look in Cam's eyes even before the half, he was exhausted. Coming back out in the 3rd quarter was the same and just got worse as the game progressed. He couldn't handle the pressure that the Denver D was bringing all night long. Miller, Ware, Ward, Wolfe and the rest were hungry, and when they saw Cam showing weakness it drove them harder. I just hope we can keep as much of this defense intact next season. Either way,

Newton didn't do himself any favors yesterday walking out of the presser. It just gave his critics justification for bashing his showboating. Just about the worst sportsmanship demonstration I've seen after a SB ever. He acted like a spoiled little kid pouting.
