LOL....The Browns might have to pay to get rid of OZ now...8-12 million....draft choices must have a really high dollar value.
I think they did well they have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds this year and 5 in the first 3 next because of the trade. and from the start the were going to cut him. Houston will eat half of the dead money when they do. They have 107.46 in cap money no way the spend that much so why not take the hit and gain a draft choice.
My mistake they will eat the money themselves not split with Houston. But they have the money. They are asking for a second round pick for him when they come down they will trade him or just cut him
http://den.247sports.com/Bolt/Report-Br ... k-51725696
In reality Hop, they gained a second rounder and downgraded another of their draft picks in the trade. Cleveland already had all those picks except for the 2nd rounder and nobody will trade for him as they know they'll cut him and then his salary is up for negotiation again. They may paying all the rest of the guaranteed money (16 million) for a 2nd round pick and trading their 4th rounder down to a 6th rounder.. That sounds like a very high price for a draft pick low in the 2nd round. No matter how much cap money they have they have so many needs that they'll need as much as they can to try to get a decent team. Besides, just because you have cap money doesn't mean you should be wasteful with it.

I wonder if the Browns will trade the number 1 pick to get even more draft picks?....lol. They haven't done much in free agency and seem hell bent on setting the record for most collected draft picks. With a 100 million to spend all they've pretty much done is waste 16 million at this point. I understand the analytic/moneyball game but this is mind boggling. I have the utmost respect for Hue Jackson but he obviously isn't running the roster moves.

Jackson isn't call the plays you are right about that. an old baseball man is by the name of Paul DePodesta. No football experience at all but ran the Oakland A's. This is his way They call it Money ball.

woodhead signs with Ravens. The only good thing about FA when your team doesn't get the FA you want is Rivals lose their people.

How is it that Okung is the highest paid LT. With that being said and the way he played last season I ask Why?

Because the Bolts continue to be inept. Yay for us.

I personally am glad we didn't try to trade for Mr. Romo. That would not have been wise. We could've given Dallas one of the popcorn vendors or a hot dog guy in the South Stands but no actual trades.
It sure is an interesting time to be a Bronco fan.

Wow, I think our "NEED" for Romo in Denver is being way overblown. Sure it would be nice but everyone acts like last year was the worst in the franchise. Did we make the playoffs? No, but we did have a winning record despite a bottom feeding o-line and no run game. Not to mention that we are also in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL now. That kind of feels weird saying since the chiefs and raiders sucked for so long lol.

The Chargers will release King Dunlap today to save cap space. Okung is taking his position. They are the same player I think but I only saw two charger games. Has anyone seen him play more and do we want him as our starting LT? He played 12 games allowed 4 sacks and had 3 penalties

I don't remember Dunlap being bad, he just wasn't terrific. Probably a high grade 2nd stringer

The thing about the chargers is Rivers always holds the ball for a while. His line gives his a decent amount of time to make a throw, they just can't hold the defense back forever. This means that players like Dunlap may actually be better than the stats say they are. If you could get him at a decent price he might be worth while. I'd rather bring in too many o-lineman this offseason than not enough.

Good for him. Hopefully his back isn't at a point where he can't recover. I'm sure that played into his decision.

Good point. I really think he would be about the same as Okung just reasonably priced.

Howdy Gents. In celebration of my Nevada Wolfpack winning The MWC regular season and Tourney, I have created a bracket contest. It's open to the public, so feel free to invite your family and friends. The more the merrier! Be careful what e-mail you use to create an entry, or which facebook account you use, as I'm not sure what info is public or private. I used a fake e-mail to register into the group chat as a guest. Hope to see you guys there just for some group fun. I will invite Rich too. Below is a link to join the group bracket. It's name is,"Picky with Icky"https://bracketchallenge.ncaa.com/?cid=BCG2017_PaidSocial_022717-040317#group?group_id=78961&controller=group
