Looks like Denver has reached in the neighborhood of $70 million in guarantees for Miller. Hopefully that will bring an end to all this.

If he doesn't take that I'll Have to take Utah's stance on it and call him greedy. That makes him the highest paid non-QB and he should take the money get in and prove he's worth it. Elway has had a bad offseason but he did do his best to keep the best player on this team here.

I agree, if Miller doesn't take it then we know he was all talk about doing what it takes to be a Bronco for life. There is no hometown discount in this deal anymore, it's a legit top tier contract now.

Same thing that happened last year with D. Thomas....at the 11th hour the deal gets done....let's just hope Von doesn't have an off year like Thomas did after getting the money.

I'm happy that they didn't take the chance that he would leave next season. 5 years he has been here and in those 5 years the Broncos have won the 2nd most games.

That and they lose their fire when they achieved that kind of money. I hope Miller is the exception. Revis kept the fire going looking for more plus pride.........most can't say that. When it becomes comfortable then most players back off. Again.....Von has been an exemplary player to date.......he needs to go after more rings instead of feeling comfortable his family is set for life. With 70 million guaranteed a small country is set for awhile.

Is Sanders a free agent after next year? I thought we had him on a longer contract, or has the time just gone that quick? lol

Bummer. Between Von and DT a lot of money is tied up. Did Elway ever take the option on DT's contract to open up more space? I didn't think he did, which would be good for Denver.

He didn't but maybe a similar option is available next year.

let's see first yes Sanders contract was under review but because of the contract of Von the Broncos only have 6 million left. Thomas will cost us next season even if we cut him he will cost 18million in dead money. Not sure if that clause is year to year hope it is. and Mack has 3 more seasons on his rookie contract. I'm not that sure he'll be worth Von Miller money He had a great game against our third string RT and had the game of his career. I need to see more before I say he's in the class of Miller. Back to Sanders hope they find a way to keep him

As long as we're scoring points and not turning the ball over I don't care if sponge bob is our QB.

All,
The Yahoo league's draft has been set for September 5th @ 6:30 MST. Every team has been auto renewed. Go to the link http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/23534 to view the league. I don't know if Lacy is playing this year so I'll try to contact her and if she isn't we'll have one slot to fill.

I think this will be it for Anunike. We have been waiting for 3 years for this potential all star to become a star. Injuries have hurt him.
