Hi, ck. I cruise by occasionally to see if there have been any new posts. I keep checking the football news to see if there is anything to comment on, but the news is that there is no news.

Likewise, Em. Just raise your hand and shout "here" when you're around and if I'm here, I'll shout back, lol!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish (I'm practically a caricature of a WASP), but I understand what the Irish have to celebrate. One thing that I don't understand is why the good Catholic Irish celebrate the holiday during Lent. The two just don't seem to go together, but that's an outsider's perspective.

They celebrate every holiday on South Beach, but it seemed relatively quiet for St. Patrick's Day.

Wow, another birthday! If I lit that many candles on a birthday cake, somebody would call the fire department. I wonder if there will still be Medicare in a couple of more years?

Thank you, dred. With the loss of Elizabeth, I believe we are pretty much over the age of Hollywood royalty. Her beauty and grace--her true star quality--will not be matched (for sure in my lifetime!)... The new so-called 'stars' embrace none of the qualities the Marilyns, Elizabeths and Graces brought to the screen. No more natural beauty. Today their faces are so pumped full of fillers, and sliced down to bone that they all look like caricatures!
Good night, Elizabeth--and as Bob Hope used to say, "Thanks for the memories."

I would guess that Sophia Loren is the very last. It was sad to read about losing Cyd Cherise, too. She did some of the greatest dance numbers that I ever saw.

Cyd Charisse was amazing, and gorgeous too. Is it possible that only Sophia Loren is left? I think each time one of the stars passes, a little more of the color disappears from the world. Soon it will all be in shades of gray. However will we be able to tell the teams apart on the field during games?

I went for a photo of Ann-Margret and Norton 360 intercepted an attack on my computer. She was certainly good looking, but making Elvis Presley movies doesn't rate with me.

What great pics of Elizabeth - thanks Dred. What a 'presence' she was... A classic beauty, a great talent and ah, colorful personality??? Comfortable in her own skin, 1st female to command $1 million a movie and her early AIDS activism when no one in Hollywood would go near it. She will be missed.Good call on Ernest Borgnine - recently saw him interviewed (on The Factor), what a likable man - terrific sense of humor and yes, he's still working - at 94!

I agree on Ann-Margaret--she was quite the beauty. She married Roger Smith (of 77 Sunset Strip fame)--who ended up with one of those awful diseases that debilitate and destroy, and she's stuck with him. It takes a special, special person to do that--and I know this from my own situation. People back off when unusual and/or particularly disabling illnesses strike. It's human nature--sad, but true. This lady has my respect.
