HOW GORGEOUS! I JUST LEFT THE LOUNGE (WHERE I COULDN'T EVEN TOAST YOU GUYS TODAY BECAUSE THERE WEREN'T ANY COCKTAIL GLASS ICONS)! I DID LEAVE A NOTE FOR PEACE ABOUT IT OVER THERE--HE ALWAYS MANAGES TO GET THE ICONS I REQUEST.

ANYHOOOOOOO! I noted that you will be leaving here for a land far away in a couple of days SOON! How exciting! I haven't been on the computer lately, so I haven't followed everything that's happening. Please spare me the trip (my head is a bit foggy right now) and tell me why and what, etc... <3

Yep those are for all the Swiss folks because I'll be in the air Monday and wanted to pass along my thoughts.
CK, I leave here @ about 8am and fly to Atl and have a layover of about 1½ hours then on to Düsseldorf where I will get in there about 8am Tuesday. (lose 7 hours in that direction) Then staying in Essen ~ Berlin ~ Brussels ~ Cologne ~ Essen and then back home. My return trip has a long layover (6½ hours) in Atl, but I'm going to try and meet up with a blogging buddy that I've never met for dinner then back home.
The original purpose was to fly over and do an installation on a custom sculpture, then I'm taking some extra time to take pictures. Hopefully one or two will turn out, I'll share some of them when I get back. There will be alot that won't be ready right away because I'm taking some other pictures too in a different format that I'm getting into called HDR. They take quite a bit of extra work before they're ready.

So there you have it in kind of a nutshell....

Sounds phenomenal, Try! Fabulous "Fake-cation" ( )!!! (Get it :?: ) I hope you have a wonderful time. Enjoy every second of it--I know you've earned some time 'off.'

You know Bobby lives in Atlanta? Could he be the 'blogging buddy?" (Perhaps I shouldn't ask this on the Board?) I suppose if you wanted us to know the name of the blogging buddy, you'd tell us, right?! Well, have a beer on me, babe!

Try, while you are in Cologne have some Kölsch. That's the local beer, but it is also the name of the local dialect. It's a German joke. It's funny that Cologne, Germany, Germans and the other words that we use for things German are not German. Some are Roman, some are French and some are Dutch (the Dutch don't call themselves Dutch, for that matter). It's all historically interesting, but confusing for tourists and offensive to some of the natives.

Last night I took a woman roses and Godiva. I took her to the best restaurant for dinner and with the tip the bill came to $276.15. The woman was rude to the wait staff, so I took her home, left and crossed her off my list. I just won't be around somebody who mistreats the help.

I feel the same as you about that stuff, Em. What does a woman have to be rude about when a terrific guy has taken her out for Valentine's Day AND bought roses and Godiva for--and although it has nothing to do with what the restaurant cost, it has everything to do with her being rude and unappreciative... Some people just don't deserve to be treated well!!!

I can't eat candy, because my complexion erupts if I do. I thought that I'd be over it at my age, but I guess that I'm stuck with it. Fortunately I don't have much of a sweet tooth. Starches are my weakness. Speaking of food, it's time for me to go out for jambalaya. I'll talk to you later.
