As to your reply CK, I wasn't trying to take a shot a the team name, I would have done worse with the Broncos if I had the talent to write. Was meant to be a joke.

As far as buying your book, thought it would be the least we should do 'cause kicks said no Paypal.

Don't abuse it folks. If you hit your hand with a hammer, then go ahead.

I bet no one thought I would ever cuss. Jaws dropping everywhere.

I'm still picking my jaw up. We thought we got away with multiple felonies when the censors were down back during the Panthers game. Ex even called us childish for all the f bombs that were being thrown around.

Omg. That's funny. I missed that. Ex calling someone childish is ironic I think.

It was generous for you to offer to help. I bought the book years ago. She will autograph it for you. Had her put "Just for kicks". Made me smile. She tries to keep that separate from the Football section though.

Wow! I totally misconstrued your reason for the question, Yi, lol. The name 'Quarterback's Demons' was chosen as a play on words--at least that's the way it started. "Demons" for the team name and the QB was struggling with the demons attached to his being suspected of and accused for the murder. The Fins had nothing to do with it at all--but now that you mention it :? ...

As for the book--no purchases necessary to be a part of Switzerland!

Just a heads up. There are a lot of people here. I don't discriminate so I let everyone in that appears to be genuine. It could happen that a troll breaks in. Let him have some fun. Hit the report button and he will be gone soon. There are only a few mods here. That is all that is needed and they do have other things to do other than watch this 24/7. But rest assured they are active and don't let the foolishness happen that occurs at Fox and CBS. When they ban, its permanent.

Keep on keeping on folks.

[b][size=150][color=#008080]Kicksie my love--you are always so helpful! Peace and Justice must appreciate the load your take off their shoulders. You're certainly earning your trip to Laurence Manor--blue skies, sunshine, lollipops--just a couple of blocks from the turquoise Atlantic Ocean. (Room and Board included, of course). You have certainly been a top recruiter. I haven't seen much of Utah of late, but I know he's a pretty good recruiter as well. It's unusual for him to be so quiet--or am I missing his posts? I'm trying so hard to learn the names and teams of all the newbies, so I've mostly been posting here in the Forum so new family members can always find me and drop around to say hey and introduce themselves... :D <3

Great to hear. I should stop by the Bronco page now and then, as there are no Dolphin fans except Try Thinking and he hasn't been around much. He's been really busy, though and I'm sure as soon as season finally gets here he'll be around more.

It's good that the bloggers here are enjoying their own pages. I am smiling a lot lately from seeing the membership growing and the team rooms lighting up more each day. I'm so pleased that people are enjoying my beloved Switzerland! <3

Just stopping by the Forum to say hey to everyone from all teams. Kicksie and I were talking about the forum page just the other day and he referred to this page as "the post office at Switzerland." I liked that a lot. It's a good neutral room that people might want to peek into before they go to their home page (or another team's home page even :? ) to see if there is any general news. As we get closer to season this post will make more sense.

Have a great Sunday afternoon everyone, and thanking you for choosing to blog here at Switzerland. If you're having fun, be sure to tell your friends and/or beg, plead and cry for them to c'mon over as well-- ;)

Just happy to know you're all finding your way around and enjoying it here. Nothing better than having a great group to share football with--before, throughout and after the season. I only wish we could make a spring/summer league so we had it all year long. To me, the longest part of the year starts in January and ends in August. Baseball and basketball are nice, hockey's okay, and all the smaller sports have a right to be played, but my preference would be football throughout the year.
Well, it's just the way I feel...

BTW--to the entire Swiss Family--there will be a virtual feast throughout the draft here at Switzerland. Unlimited food and drink--including top shelf liquor, kegs of beer and a buffet with selections you've only dreamed about. In the morning we will have omelet stations, an assortment of breads (including bagels, croissant, rye and wheat breads); smoked salmon, cream cheese plain, with chives and with veggies; pancakes, and crepes. Luncheon will have several soups, sandwiches, tuna tartar and numerous hot meal choices. Dinner will be served throughout the late afternoon to midnight (and possibly beyond if the Family is still blogging. Various appetizers--hot and cold, a smorgasbord of seafood (including lobsters and stone crabs from world famous Joe's on Miami Beach), and of course, steaks--from filet mignon to NY Strip--all for your dining pleasure! You can eat to celebrate your team's selections or to bury your woes. Either way, you'll be able to chill with your team buddies AND eat virtually everything your hearts desire. Compliments of The Godmother, Keeping the Peace and good ol' Justice. Thank you so much for choosing to blog in Switzerland!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Spending all my time with the virtual caterers preparing the draft day menu. It keeps me away from football news. Every time I read about the Fins, it just upsets me more--so I'd rather be thinking about the menu than reading the Bleacher Reports and being aggravated by what comes out of Dolphin camp.

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!

This is the slowest day of the year--seems like 8:00 is never coming!

We've put out some virtual munchies to help get through the day. The big virtual buffet opens at 5:00. YiRox--the entire virtual spread will be set out here in Switzerland's Forum. Mimosa's will be at the virtual bar and I've hired 5 barkeeps so no one will have to wait any longer for their virtual mixed drinks than those who are drinking their poison of choice straight up.

I'm hoping to have a crowd in here throughout the draft. If people post here, no one will have to go running from room to room to find out fans' responses. Of course, those who prefer to share solely on their team page, this forum has been set up close to all the team rooms so you can buzz in and out for virtual foodies--getting right back to your team's home page so you don't miss a second.

Best of luck to all of you!

Great idea CK! The back and forth of team boards gets to be a bit much and makes it tough to follow conversations...

As for your Dolphins, rumor is they're talking to St. Louis about trading up to get in front of Minnesota to draft DeVante Parker. He's a stud WR and would undoubtedly make Tannehill happy! If they stay put and Parker is gone, I'm betting on Todd Gurley as the pick. Either way, Miami comes out of the first round with an offensive weapon.

Thanks, Southie. I'd heard rumors they were trading up--this Tannenbaum seems to be well known for his propensity to trade up early in the draft and a decent wide receiver would sure go a ways to helping Tannehill out. Fins aren't known (in the past few years) for doing anything but shooting the team in the a*s in the draft....
