I know it's early but a Swiss Fantasy football league anyone? NFL is my preferred site, 12 teams works best imo.
Believe I've done enough damage tonight - lol!

Ms Bags...it always brightens my day to see you. You know there's a Giants page and a Colt page here--one for every team in the NFL.Lots of new people that are looking to be really knowledgeable about football. I'm really pleased with the way things are going here in the new old Switzerland. Seeing you here, though, is a true pleasure. I believe the Colts play here this year, and you know the old offer stands. The stadium will be nearly finished this season, and from what they are saying, the main thing left for 2016 is the stadium cover. Of course, that's the most important thing to me!
GOOD MORNING TO ALL THE SWISS FAMILY--HAVE A GREAT SOON-TO-BE FOOTBALL SEASON DAY!

Morning Yi! Hope you're nice and comfy here in Switzerland by now. You'll get your "Veteran' title in no time--I see you're posting pretty regularly. I believe 500 posts and you become a Veteran. We're glad you've come over to the Swiss side of football...

My pleasure Yi. I have been blessed with an incredible group of administrators and moderators. Peace has been here since the beginning of the old, old Switzerland and Justice came along shortly afterwards. I'm loving getting up and reading over the posts from the night before and early a.m.
I'm trying hard to get to know (the names) of all of you who have arrived recently, so I'm doing more reading than posting right now, but you'll get to hear a lot more from me come draft and then when the season begins. Thanks for coming over here and if you have any issues, you know who to contact. We try to take care of things quickly so this ol' place stays running smoothly...

Icky--appreciate your recognition of my(somewhat) over-the-top remarks. I have been known to have an occasional burst of humor--save for when football season arrives and I have to face reality. I don't think I've enjoyed a game since Danny left us so I tend to whine a lot after every game...

Well, Yi, it's like this--I really needed a team I could control, call the right plays for, etc.- so in a sense, yes, it's based on the Dolphins. I spent some time there speaking with administrators and checking out the field. I knew all about winning from the Fins' past and from having worked as the assistant to the Athletic Director at The U when they were in their glory days. I actually received a National Championship ring for my work there during one of its championship seasons. I know all about locker rooms from then. It's funny, because although MYSTERY OF JESSICA BENSON (which I try not to discuss here because it'd be pretty tacky to invite y'all here and then try to sell my books
.
Most of the knocks on my book are about the cursing. People seem to be obsessed with complaining about the 'colorful' vocabulary of the football players and detectives. Clearly those people have never spent time up-close and personal with either, as if they had, they would easily recognize that I merely kept the script as close to reality as I could. I'm sorry if I offend people with my writing, but I don't quite understand why people buy books when the cover blurb discusses the victim as being "bi-sexual, beautiful and dead" and makes it quite clear that it is not a Mary Higgins Clark book in any way shape or form. (Mary Higgins Clark NEVER uses curse words and offers a reward to authors who don't use the "f" word. Needless to say, I have no problem with the "F" word. Further, the actual news headlines about players and real teams should be a big clue to mystery readers to stay away from mysteries involving football players and their world if they aren't in to cursing.
Sorry to have gone on about that. I tried to explain that to readers by responding to their reviews and telling them it was all about reality, but then the remarks on some of the reviews started being directed at me (with considerable venom, I might add), and I chose to stop trying to be nice to those who had only rotten stuff to say, and only responding to those who gave only four or five stars. Much more rewarding to me!

I'm still picking my jaw up. We thought we got away with multiple felonies when the censors were down back during the Panthers game. Ex even called us childish for all the f bombs that were being thrown around.
