Hey kicksie!!! It must be something I just noticed after all these years. When you post, there are no avatars, but when you submit your post, and it comes up on the page, all the avatars are there. My bad--foggie brain syndrome.
BTW, I miss your old doggie av--have to get used to the change...

No one remembers me by that av except a few of the long timers. Prefer that to old timers. Everyone knows the smiling dog. He looks just like my red Golden Retriever Moose.

I never posted at Faux after Switzerland was created and I never posted at CBS, Kicksie. I've been doing some *hoovering at the different boards to try and learn who is here and what teams they are associated with--or not! I'm pretty sure everyone knows I'm a Dolphin fan, I mention it every time I show my face/avatar. I'd love to meet all of you, so feel free to say hey when/wherever you see me. Hopefully I'll get to know you all. Once upon a time I was a rabid fan, but Sir Ross & Co. and wilder than most anyone around. Fourteen years of bad owners/luck/coaching/players/coaching/owners/everything have humbled me. I am now quiet, polite, respectful, and so forth--just wait till season--you'll see.
Welcome again if we haven't yet met--everyone have a great night! All drinks are on the house.

Hey! I don't see you hovering, but hey anyhow! I will wait to see you on here. I have a few great stories about the Dolphin team and the ownership. Some of the personal mementos are unreal and passed from the great owner to his close friends. Museum full of it. As a football lifer it was pretty much otherworldly to experience handling and seeing stuff I would have thought no one ever could even know existed. Fin fans are shell shocked when I tell them about it. Being a Raider lifer I was still shell shocked. hahaha great history and historic one of a kinds.
All the best.
Peace !

Love, love, love any and all Dolphin stories (up to the past 14 years when we dove and crashed. I was hoping there was truth to the 13-year curse on the Fins for the way they let Marino crash and burn by taking away his line and receivers; however, that 13th year came and went and we're still stuck with Ross and his bonehead choices for coaches and players. Now they've extended bonehead Philbin for a whole 'nother 2 years (even if they don't stay with it, the thought of it just makes me feel crappy to know it's on the table. (sulk sulk
)

Thanks for letting Kicks invite us/me into your home.

Now the question is in your by-line... is the foot-i-ball a Freudian slip or a typo

I'm pretty sure that foot i ball is Olde English. It was footy ball back in the day. CK is just putting a modern twist on it.

She might even throw out a pip pip or cheerio! You just never know.

We had a redesign. Team pages seemed a bit more appropriate with the Switzerland forum left of course. The other pages were closed. Too cluttered. Thinking most will approve.

As with a small few of the Swiss family members, Em seems to come and go. Em was one of the first who posted in the old Switzerland. I'm starting to see some conversations go throughout the late hours, which is great for me.. I have a tendency to wake after midnight, and I'm always thrilled to see discussions going on late so I have someone to talk to and this has always been the best place for that!

That's quite a wild sculpture there EM. Do you remember that guy in Beaumont that lived on the corner of 7th and Gladys or Louisiana? It was in your neck of the woods. He used to do some wild welded sculptures. Can't remember his name. It was so long ago.

Hard to believe it was 1972 when the Dolphins had their perfect season, you also had some pretty incredible years with Marino, Clayton and Duper. When you look back on your proud history, it's difficult to accept anything less. I'm an old Baltimore Colts fan, I know the pain, having to go 13 years without a team. Well, we've now been blessed with the Ravens and hope your turnabout comes soon.
