Hey Em. Nice ride. Classics are wonderful.
Ck.. glad you liked the GG. I am sure that STC would have been horrified by the omit. Its kind of picked up in here. Glad I was able to hang around a few minutes... (my break was extended at work a bit... lol)

Are you kidding me I took home a shopping bag size to go!!
My butts been tied up something fierce on the work front. Basically just me holding down the fort for a while.... on a better note I did just make a nice little $4,800 sale
Hey buddy. Glad you could make the buffet. There was a ton of food left over so I hope you took several shopping bags home. I didn't see you sign the guest list so I figured you were a no show. I bet you spent most of the evening with Hef and the Bunnies, didn't you? J/K.
Congrats on the sale. Whoo Hoo!
Thanks, yes I've been tied up most of the day since I got here and was just able to sit down for a few. I have a client coming in at 4 so in about 10 minutes from now, that will be about an hour meeting if/when he shows.
In any case good to see you guys in the Land of Swiss, enjoy....

Tenn, isn't that bourbon???? Don't care for it myself but that is mr b's beverage of choice. I'm sure he'd be happy to share!
Looks like maybe CK, Em and TT are here as well??? Bring out Vodka, buffet and nice digs and see what happens.
TT, congrats on the sale.
Just here for a few minutes.

Thanks so much for thinking of me, Emeritus. You and I seem to be very sensitive to the absence of one another. I think that might be because of all the long hours we spent here together when The New Switzerland was first introduced. We ran up some serious numbers of posts (and are doing a pretty good job of keeping those numbers up ) A few days (weeks?) back when you didn't arrive till late in the day, I got all ferklempt and gavorsaginvekkin, running around from room to room looking for you. You could probably lose someone for days in kicks korner. Especially in the hall of mirrors or the basement shopping center. The monorail to and from the korner and downtown Switzerland is under construction and should be done soon.

Many years ago the Saturday Evening Post had a funny page. Occasionally it would feature a piece written in a hysterically funny fake German accent. It was right up there with Inspector Clouseau's fake French accent. I would alway look for it.

Am back home and just wanted to check in and see the place before eating the lovely dinner that Wave made.
I have a news flash for everyone. In an unexpected move the Patriots have traded Tom Brady to the the Jets for a 5th round pick. When questioned, Coach Belicheck responded by saying that they got Tom in the 6th round and figured after a few years of wear and tear that a 5th round pick was an improvement. Makes about as much sense as Randy Moss for a 3rd round. Rumor is next he will trade all the receivers for a 6 pack of beer and a pepperoni pizza.

I also put in a fountain out front. Boy, I'm tired. I'll try to find a big, comfortable chair.

I've been there! That's Peter the Great's Summer Palace near what was called Leningrad when I visited in 1986. He built it for Catherine. Talk about love! It's a truly amazing place...
