To those of you whose teams I have chosen, I apologize. It significantly lowers your chances of winning. Please feel free to send me a request to switch to your opponent any time before the games begin on Sunday. I have no problem with switching, and I aim to please. This is the weekend I have been waiting for--the Dolphins don't play. I can enjoy the weekend because my nerves aren't going to wrap around me and squeeze till I cry--clearly you see, because my Fins are on a bye!!!

I didn't give you my reasoning this week because I had no reasoning. It was pretty much a coin toss all the way down the list with a couple of exceptions...

Broncos Vs Ravens Ravens
I predicted the Ravens would be a Super Bowl contender this year. But, they have not shown me anything that was remarkable yet. Kyle Orton and the Broncos have made tremendous strides offensively this year. However, the pass only offense will have a tough time on the road. If Moreno does play this game could go to the Broncos. 28-24

Jaguars Vs Bills Jaguars
Both of these teams are off to a rocky start. The Bills made great strides with the addition of Fitzpatrick, but I do not think that will be enough to win over the Jags this week. 21-10

Bears Vs Panthers Panthers
A surprising Bear loss to the Giants last week that showed some major holes in their offensive line allowing nine sacks on Cutler in one half. The reports are that Cutler will not play this Sunday and with that news I see the Cats Prevailing. 21-10

Buccaneers Vs Bengals Bengals
The Bucs are actually better statistically, but the Bengals are simply a better all around team. Carson to T.O. was a thorn in the Browns side last week. The Bengals offense has improved the Buccaneers had a rest, the big Egos have it this week. 28- 24

Falcons Vs Browns Falcons
The Browns are looking better each week, but not enough to pull ahead of a much stronger Falcons offense. 31-17

Rams Vs Lions Lions
The Lions have played some great games this year and at least two should have been won. I am betting they are ready for that first win against the Rams. 31-28

Giants Vs Texans Texans
If the Texans can utilize their rushing game they will triumph. There have been some evident breakdowns on their defense, but hopefully the strong offense will carry the Texans through.
21-17

Chiefs Vs Colts Chiefs
This game could go either way. The Chiefs will need to play far above themselves to prove why they are the only undefeated team in the NFL. Can they do it away from home against Peyton? I am not sure, but I am sticking with them. 14-10

Packers Vs Redskins Packers
McNabb played a great game against the Eagles last week and the Pack barely staved off the Lions. That was a wake up call for the Packers and they will come prepared for battle. 28-17

Saints Vs Cardinals Saints
The Super Bowl champs have had a rough couple of weeks. However the Cards have had a rough season. No big upset here this week as the Saints climb back up. 31-10

Titans Vs Cowboys Cowboys
A long week of rest after getting their first win of the season against the Texans. The Titans were sloppy last week against the Broncos and could not capitalize on the many chances they were given to win the game. The Boys should be able to pull this out if their defense comes to play.
17-16

Chargers Vs Raiders Chargers
The Chargers will soon becoming out of their early season woes and getting a mindset of winning. The Raiders do not have the resources on the field, management and above all else ownership. 31-20

Eagles Vs 49ers Eagles
In the battle of the non-quarterbacks we have Smith and Kolb. The 49ers organization is at war with itself and that will never win games. They need to settle the front office bickering and find a quarterback that is worthy. 14-6

Vikings Vs Jets Vikings
This pick is based on the Moss trade to the Vikings, where he will be “appreciated”. Favre will be ecstatic having a target back and Revis had nothing for Moss against the Pats. The Jets defense is stout and will force Brett to hurry up his slow playing. 21-20

I had picked the Bears with the news that Cutler would be in for half the game and changed it to the Panthers with the news Cutler would be out with a concussion for the game.

We still need picks from; TryThinking, Baglady, BabyHawk, kicks, peddlefest and of course anyone else who would like to play along.

The only rules are for you to have your picks in before the start of the first game.

Good Luck....
