Sorry Ped. It was so quiet here, that you couldn't even hear a Dolphin swimming (hee hee hee). I was the only one here and got tired of visiting myself...

Quite possibly the most impressive performance of the weekend, the Dolphins defense, not previously known for creating turnovers, forced seven fumbles, an interception and deflected four passes.

Similarly to his impact on the Broncos in 2009, Mike Nolan appears to have made an immediate improvement on the defensive unit in Miami. It doesn't hurt that he has a wealth of young talent to work with, but it's hard to ignore the improvement from 2009.

Holding the Buccaneers to a single score, while creating four turnovers is an impressive feat for any game of the season, but to do so in the very first game should raise alarms for the rest of the AFC East.

I thought that was really good. It's even nicer to see that someone paid enough attention to the team to see that. Not sure if the writer of that piece is a fin fan, but he is definitely a very attentive fan. Good stuff.

Evening, Reeceykins.

You know, I was so focused in on how mediocre our offense was, that the successes of the defense didn't even register. Now that I read that, I remember. Problem being--if you don't do anything with all the turnovers, it doesn't mean a damned thing! Can you imagine? All that fine work by the defense and the offense couldn't produce. It's like, "Where do we go from here??? The final score: 10-7 ... uh uh--not acceptable.

Good morning, Switzerland!

Hey dred--I agree with you completely regarding the slopfest, and I would love to see a repeat of that defense on a dry field.

The Dolphins looked like a revolving door last night--in--out---in-out. It was like expierimental football.

Oh Lord--our Dolphins looked so horrible last night, I actually cried. From first string to last, it was a disaster. It was painful to be in the stadium--where Ross has decided to "pump it up" with rap stars and rap music, even while the team is rolling over and playing dead. Fins Up???

Thanks, Ped. I'm trying to keep myself under control. I guess I expected our first team to look a little better. For the money Marshall is being paid, he shouldn't even be dropping balls in practice game. I do NOT like hearing, "Pass INTENDED FOR Marshall..." Especially when it's a nice, crisp pass that any rookie receiver should have gotten. No rhythm between he and Henne at all! I'll get over my fretting when the team settles in for the season, I'm sure.
