I don't know what it is about the Dolphins, but for some reason the biggest and the best come here with the intention of putting us back on the road to the SB, and leave (us) disappointed and the team struggling. I thought he had control over all the trades and other decisions on players. I bet this is one of those things where we never learn the truth about what happened...

I had the same impression. As Vice President for Football Operations, he picked the GM and they picked the head coach between them. Then the three of them were supposed to pick everybody else. Since the other two worked for Parcells, I assumed that he would have final say in all personnel matters. I believe that you are correct, ck. We will never know the truth.

Hey Ped. So how do you feel about the announcement that Parcells is leaving (given on the first week of the season)? I think the timing is insidious and guaranteed to throw the players (and fans) off their game. If it affected the team even 1/8 of how it affected me, we are in real trouble. I was devastated to my core...
