Good Morning CK - great here, all good in Miami? Heading out to what looks like a beautiful day here - 72 now, only up to mid 80's - nice break from the 100+ days. Goddell to visit Colts camp today - not sure what to expect. Enjoy your day~

Too bad about Jeff Saturday. Hope Richards can fill in good while Jeff recovers. If I remeber correct, Jamie's very first snap as a Colt went over Sorgi's head and resulted in a touch back. Anyone remember if that was his first sanp?
GO COLTS!!!!

Buck, word is Saturday is out 4 - 6 weeks but he's a "quick healer". Not sure if that's just optimistic spin but hope he's good to go Wk 1. If not, hmmm didn't Jamey Richard play center in 08 when Sat missed a few games? That was after Peyton had knee surgery like 5 minutes before training camp and missed all of camp and preseason. Colts started 3 and 4. I do remember Peyton's timing was slowed just a second or two and the Colts struggled offensively the first part of that season. Think Richard was a rookie at the time so hopefully after a couple of yrs he's better prepared...
Off to work, be back later....

That sounds about right, you know me and my partial memory lol. I just remember a play where he snaped the ball way over Sorgi's head and was ready to throw my beverage at the TV. Yes, with age and experience comes wisdom so hope he does well filling in for the "non counting" games ans Saturday is ready to go for week #1.
Have a great morning and see you later Mrs Bags.

G' Morning Buck! Glad you had a good time at the game :D
Sorry to lose Silva for the season. The O line better protect Peyton like they have been... think the Colts allowed the fewest sacks in the league on Peyton last season???

Heading back to IN - catch you later.

Have a safe trip back Mrs Bags. Am I wrong or did all teams in the AFC South get beat this week? Thankfully it's only preseason. Man our defense came out swarming. Had the starters played the whole game SF would NOT have scored. We looked sharp. I see good things this season for the Colts. The place went totally nuts when they presented Manning with the MVP trophy. Very electric!

GO COLTS!!!!

Hey Buck! Good to see you here. Ms Bags is traveling today. I don't think she'll be on till later. Your team will be fine--Colts are always in play for the SB...

Every AFC South team did lose this weekend, but it's so we could see what we have with the younger and unproven players. We skipped on kicking a game tying field goal because lord knows nobody wants to go to overtime in the preseason. I think there should just be a written rule that in preseason, even if the score is tied, the game still automatically ends. There is a third column in the W/L standings after all.

And with this post, I am now officially put at one hundred. Quite a motormouth that Reecey Baby. Lol!

The Fantasy Draft is this upcoming Sunday evening. I'm going to be planted at home in front of my computer screen. I'll try my best to do everything live and in a timely manner. I don't trust automated.

Good Morning CK and gang. Another beautiful day here in the circle city. Too bad I only have one eye open to enjoy it. Insomnia maximus......maybe 5 hours sleep since Saturday night.
Okay, now week 1 of preaseon is over and we are all a step closer to regular season, which teams really stood out. I would have to say the Skins really looked good and the Giants as well. Colts looked like the Colts from years past and coaches did exactly what they sat out to do. I really like Brandstater. he can check down the defense very well for being so young and playing behind the o-line scrubs. Still think Painter given the right circumstances (playing behind a real o-line) could build some confidence and do well as a back up. Think the colts have a diamond in the rough with Tom though.

GO COLTS!!!!

Loved Devin Moore's performance last night. ST sure can use an improvement and he looks like he could be a great kick returner.
Brody Eldridge - 5th rd TE - not sure how Polian and his staff find them but he looks like he could be the a futute 'Dallas Clark' type - hope so....
But, 4 turnovers and too many penalties in last night's game. :(
