One day closer to camp.....

Wonder how long the Colts will keep 4 QB's on the roster? We know about Painter... anyone know anything about Brandstater or Hiller :?:

Props to Irsay, Polian and the Colts organization - according to ESPN magazine, Colts rank #4 of ALL Pro Sports franchises. Saints are ranked 1st (if only we'd WON the SB.... :( ), Orlando Magic ranked 2nd, LA Angels 3rd etc.

ck, Colts set a league record w/ 12 or more wins in 5 consecutive yrs and are now at 7 (maybe 8?) straight yrs and counting. Am afraid some of our fans (esp the younger ones that don't remember the pre Peyton and Polian yrs) are getting spoiled.... You just can't take 12 wins a season for granted. Peyton can't play forever - can he???

I know what you mean, Bags. Here in Miami we were raised almost from Griese to Marino--and with no real stinkers in between. It was quite a fall from grace! We will surely be pleased to get out of this, what has been--ten year slump?! I hope we hear lots of Henne to Marshall this year...

ck, I would say this could be a make or break yr for Henne. He's shown great promise and now has Marshall, a great WR IF he behaves.... hope it works out for your Dolphins.

Colts have Gonzalez healthy after missing all but the the first part of the season opener last yr but w/ Wayne and now Collie and Garcon, not sure how they'll all be used. We did pick up a couple of big lineman that hopefully can open up some lanes to establish some kind of running game. I really expect 2nd yr RB Brown to have a great career...

I think we can safely say that your Colts are in good shape for the upcoming year. I am not so sure about the Phins, but I sure hope so. There have been huge changes in personnel, and of course, you know how I mourn the loss of Jason Taylor. Yes, I understand that he just wasn't part of Parcells' bigger plan, but I just feel that we need to have a little more loyalty for the troopers--especially those that have (and continue to) performed as well as JT.

The Colts and the Texans open the regular season against each other and then play each other again in Week 8. That will be after our bye weeks. By then we should see how both teams have held up against some really tough scheduling. Isn't it unusual for two teams in the same division to have the same bye week?

Yes that does seem strange. Like to get the bye weeks over early. We usually come out flat after a bye week except last year we came out looking pretty decent. Sure enough can't wait to get this season under way.

At least both teams will get the same amount of time to recover and prepare. Looking at our early schedules, we will need it! Even in the preseason we get the Cowboys and the Saints.

Go AFC South! We really have it cut out for us this year. I hope that your weather is better than the awful heat and humidity here on the Gulf Coast.

Just watched a DVD, highlights of the Colts 2009 season - what a great season we really did have.... Forgot about some of the plays - the TD pass from Addai to Wayne in the 49er game :o , the awesome ending to our game against NE :P and the 2 playoff games. Imo, the AFCCG against the Jets may have been the best ball the Colts played all season :D .

Oh, the DVD, a nice free surprise in the mail from Jim Irsay to season ticket holders - what a great owner he's become...

Another division??? The days of David Carr are long gone - no question the Texans will challenge in the AFC South. But, should the Jags move who knows how the realignment will end up.

Just saw Mike Lombardi's NFL.com report suggesting Bob Sanders would never play football again??? Wow, Sanders participated in all the Colts OTA's and has said he's feeling he's in the best shape of his career and back to full speed. Yes, injury prone but when healthy he's a playmaker. We'll see soon enough (well, maybe not quite soon enough...) - training camp Aug 1. But we sure won't see him much in preseason games. Just hope he's 100% and this report is bogus - makes you wonder though where Lombardi came up w/ this???

i hate to hear people give carr at bad rap...the guy had nobody to play with...i agree...if it wasnt for their schedule...the Texans could be somebody...

Many think the Colts are on the decline but I have to say that with our offense getting better every season and Pollian filling the gaps on the defense and having Bob Sanders and Freeney healthy, AFC South will be sown up once again by the Colts. Texans are without question getting better and the Titans should with there shcedule have a winning season. Jags will bring up the tail again and will till they get some help on offense.

Buck, you know that works for me!

No disrespect for David Carr - he just represents a tough few yrs for the Texans. If only he'd had some protection.... and never was sure those gloves were a good idea...
