I'm just a little too old for these heart-stoppers. Maybe it's finally time for me to give football up and find something less stressful...

Looks like the Texans are going to win it. 34-24 with a minute and change left...

As expected, the Pats killed Cincy.
Tampa Bay won.
Giants won.
Bears 10/Lions 14 with the ball and a couple of seconds left.
Jax 24 with Denver 17 and 7:59 left--looks like they are going to play out that one for us right now.
Giants have handily beaten the Jags 31-18 with 3 minutes and change left...
I know the stats make it look like an easy win, but it wasn't--I watched the entire game. Our offense started sputtering after putting up 2 scores in their first two series of the game. The 13 points held till they gave us the safety at the end of the game as a strategy move to get them out of the end zone for the punt. After that we STILL couldn't score. Something is lacking with our offense. Buffalo is very young and inexperienced. Our schedule is way to tough to play that way and expect to win anything. Our defense played beautifully--I hope they can play that way against the tougher teams....

That's weird--I wonder what happened there? The Lions must have really worked hard to f*ck that one up.

Oh man--I just thought about Reecey! He must be livin' large about now. I hope his heart can handle the excitement of beating Peyton, lol. I can't wait to see him. I'm sure it's tough on Baglady, but she knows her team is good and solid (they probably just LET the Texans win :D ) and will be fine...

Bags knew it would be a close game and I think Reecey won't come down from his high for quite some time .... at least until the rematch!

Try, Reecey may NEVER come down from this high, hee hee!
This Packer/Eagles game is pretty rough. Some seriously hard hitting going down and Aaron Rogers has been sacked pretty damn hard twice in the last drive.

The evening thunder has started here...

The missing piece for the Texans has been a good running back. Setting a team record against the Colts is a good start for Foster.

Nasty injury to Leonard Weaver - Philly (No. 43, I believe). Got to expect it when you play as physical as these teams.

The injury to Weaver was so bad that when they showed a replay on the big screen, one of the players threw up. Well she said "Got nauseas," but we know what she meant ;) Rogers too has taken some nasty hits, but if you play QB and your line isn't properly protecting you, that's what is going to happen.

I wish I could see a different game. I have absolutely no interest in this game as I can't stand either of them... We apparently don't get any double headers today either...

Gosh, ck, we get three games here: the Colts and the Texans, the Eagles and the Packers, and the Cowboys and the Redskins. I'm passing on the second game. We are having a terrific thunderstorm here.

We get three games too. We had two at 1:00 and now one at 4. I just think we should get 2 and 2. Of course, we also get a game tonight. I don't think I've ever watched a game like this one. The players are just flying (literally) around the field and the hits are downright ugly. I have never witnessed injuries one right after another like this!

No, Em--I don't usually post that much during a Dolphin game, but TT had no feed of the game so I was doing play by play for him. It was in this room, so if you scroll down, you'll see how I managed all those posts.

This Green Bay/Philly game is so violent. I couldn't stand Philly before, but when they took Michael Vick in, that was the end for me. I had hoped no team would take him in a show of solidarity of distaste for his actions, but of course, Philly is just sleazy enough that it can look past what he did. So far five injuries in the game.

[color=#008080]I am a writer, you know Em.

Wow! The sixth injury in the Green Bay/Philly game is on the ground now. This might be the most violent game I've ever seen, as far as injuries go. Not only that, but Kevin Cobb is out with a concussion which has allowed Michael Vick to come out and play. Of course, it's the first time all day that their offense has moved. Touchdown, Philly. Yuck.

I'm sorry that Kolb has a concussion of course, but he wasn't doing anything before he had it. There are people on the Eagles page saying that they miss Donovan McNabb already. It's typical - you have to leave for people to realize what they had.

Shoot. I still mourn Danny. He was driven out early by the Evil Empire. They took away his receivers first, then his line, then blamed him because we weren't winning as much. Evil, evil EVIL Empire!

It would be great if we could set a default size and color, but the Fox forums had the same setup as here and it wasn't possible there either. I'm just grateful to have the option of selecting them. I'm sure that in time it will become second nature to us and we will do it without thinking. Hmm, I seem to do most things without thinking.

The Patriots beat the Bengals, who have been the darlings of the sports media during the preseason. Now if the Raven will beat their other pet team, the Jets, who will they have to get excited about? Everybody talks about the Jets defense, but the Ravens still have the most menacing defense that I've seen.
