I finally noticed the FAQ button at the top of the page. I'm sure that if it had been hidden I would have found it at once. Most of our questions are answered there.

Yes, Lady. At the bottom of the page there is a box where you can change it from ascending to descending (or vice versa)--and you will change the order...

Thanks CK - except it keeps changing back to "ascending" every time I leave this thread. :?

In fact, it changes back to Ascending when you post.

ck stressed that this was a forum rather than a blog and it is true to form. It is much like the forums at Fox. You can't use HTML. You can post only pictures that you have on your computer, because the directory address is required (there is a Browse button to help). The default order for forums is last entry last. Fortunately, when you go to the forum (only one has been started so far) there's a botton next to the Last Post notice that will take you to the active area. I'm sure that we will all get used to it in time.

Google "Easy Thumbnails" - it will give you a link to a free software download that can resize photos for you.

16Forever, is the photo on your computer? If so, just go to your pictures and put the cursor on the thumbnail. It will tell you the size of the picture. Right click on the thumbnail and it will open a menu. Select Edit from the menu. That should open the picture in Paint. There will be a tool bar at the top and about the third (?) button across Will be Image. Open that that and one of the options will be stretch/skew. Select that one. It will open a box showing the image size, in height and width, at 100 percent. Lower the percentage in each box until you image is about 90 by 90 pixels.

For your avatar...download a program called Framesize from the internet. I had to set mine at 30 x 30 to get it to load.

Utah, why is your avatar so small? We are allowed 90 by 90 pixels.

Perhaps he's trying to emphasize how small his dog is...?

The one that I've attached is 80 by 80 pixels. Try downloading it to your computer and then uploading it here.

If anyone is having a problem uploading an avatar try opening the picture with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. You can then click on Edit Pictures > Resize and enter the pixel dimensions needed under Custome width x height.
