If I can navigate this place, anybody can. The topics are listed with the most active at the top, not counting the top two, which are for game predictions. The last week's picks should be dropped to make it less confusing. Anyway, if you stay in the top five or so, you will catch the most active discussions.

More people will show up after they've had dinner. This is a slow time of the evening.

One good thing about spaghetti tacos is that you can eat them at the computer.

LOL. I just read about them. Apparently a character on a kid TV show likes them and now they are the most requested kid food item. I don't know of any place that sell them, but they are big at slumber parties.

Oh. You ARE bored this evening.

Are you implying that the only reason that would bring my dear, dear friend Smitty to Switzerland would be extreme boredom? :( :(

No, actually he was looking for a restroom. Seriously, it's good to see him. Smitty is a funny guy.

LOL. Thank you for that, 16. Except when in combat, I heard that at 5:30 am every morning for two years.

LOL, I was there only because I got a letter. It said: "Greetings from the President of the United States. You have been selected, along with thousands of your countrymen before you, to participate in the defense of your country. You are ordered to report for induction....." It said that I was to defend my country, but they didn't put me on the beach to repel invaders. They sent me to Nam to fight for the southern dictator, Ngo Diem, again the northern dictator, Ho Chi Mihn. I lost a lot of the best friends that I ever had and my left foot, for nothing whatsoever. It left me a little cynical. Every time that a politician gets in trouble he wraps himself in the flag and young people die. I'm not knocking patriotism, just the misuse of it by the power hungry.

On another note, I still have a couple of more days to enjoy the Texans being in first place in their division.

To all new arrivals, I know that this can look confusing at first. Actually it works like the forums at Fox Sports. There is a "Jump to" box at the bottom of the page. Select "Peaceful Corner" and then read the instructions that Peace has provided. They explain how to do about everything here. Welcome!

It took me a couple of days until I realized that if you stick to the blog rooms everything works just like the Fox forums. And unlike there, we have Peace to explain things. I really like all of the capabilities that this place gives us.

Do anybody know where Utah got off to? He came by and said that he would be back with his picks for last weeks games and that's the last that I saw of him.

My biggest problem with the game is that I've never even heard of most of the current "celebrities." I sure wouldn't recognize them. Now show Sophia Loren's eyes and I would know them immediately.

That's true. I feel for CK to have to see and hear all that extra hoopla about the added celebrities during pregames, halftime, and all that jazz. Anything that doesn't have to do with football and the way it's played on the field, I have no interest in. I can see CK now saying "WE DON'T CARE FOR NON OF THAT CRAP! BRING OUT THE BOYS!"
Playoffs? Playoffs? Don't talk to me about Playoffs! I'm just trying to win a game! Playoffs?

You have NO idea, Reecey--how angry it makes me to see all that fuss and noise that has NOTHING to do with football. Our new owner is a waste and a total star-f*ucker! As it happens, I know this particular little group of stars because they all live in my general neighborhood and you can't help bumping into them around town, but the thing is--WHY ARE THEY AT MY FOOTBALL STADIUM YELLING 'FINS UP,' at me throughout the games? Oh, and who stole our fight song and gave us the laid back "FINS TO THE LEFT, FINS TO THE RIGHT--IT'S THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN" instead???And why isn't Marc Antony in some hospital being force-fed. The man is emaciated! And yes, BRING OUT THE BOYS, DAMMIT!!! The football games are NOT a place for anything, I mean ANYTHING, but football!!! That's what I'm at the games for, and that's all I want to see!!

Oh yes, Em. I, for the most part don't know and don't care to know the gazillion movie stars of today. It's a damn shame that the young 'uns don't have the opportunity to know what REAL star power is! The persona of yesteryear... Ingrid Bergman. Marilyn Monroe. Grace Kelly. Audrey Hepburn. Elizabeth Taylor--oh my, now there was a set of eyes! Cary Grant. Troy Donahue--true, his career was short, but he was va-va-va-va-voom! when he was big! Clark Gable...who cared about the false teeth and bad breath? John Wayne--a Republican, but what a star presence!

Hmmm. Maybe I'll stop by a couple more rooms just in case I find a live person here, but then, for sure, I'm going to go watch 'Gone With the Wind!' Talk about a REAL bunch of stars!
