IT'S HERE... HALL OF FAME GAME TONIGHT. THE SEASON BEGINS...

I am too too excited! Hall of Fame Game is finally here--seems as though it's been forever since the disappointing end of last year!!! (For Dolphin Fans.)
Next week the Phins' Season is on--renewed hope for we downtrodden masses! It certainly feels as though our time should be here again, at last... So, how about the rest of you? Are you ready for some football?

It's better than drugs! Watching Romo take the ball down the field flawlessly, then ending up having to kick a field goal 'cause he just couldn't get it in .
Thank you to God, the cosmos or whatever the force is that has let me live to another Hall of Fame Game and the beginning of of another Season. Some people might think me sick 
, but there are very few things in this world as wonderful as football!

crap...open mouth insert foot...i waited all day for the game...fell asleep 10 minutes before it started...woke up(pissed)...5 minutes before halftime...didnt even see tony play...

The game actually was pretty boring - imo.... Romo, not so great, McGee looked good as did WR Phillips. Was hard to watch w/ all the penalties. But, me complain??? Nah, football is back!

Hall of Fame Game is usually a bore--it's just that it is season kick-off game, so I sit and watch it anyway. It was the xanax to my off-season anxiety and I went to sleep with a huge, HUGE smile. I do so love my football!

What stood out for me is how good the Dallas starting defense is. The Bengals have an explosive offense and they could do absolutely nothing against it. I'd not excited about the fact that the Texans have to play them twice this year. I'm glad that only one of those games count.

I don't think any team plays all out in preseason, Em. (Save for those who are on the cusp and fighting for a spot.) Most coaches and players are concerned in keep them/stay healthy so they are there for the real season. Even so, there are catastrophic injuries to key players and depending on the depth, teams are hurt badly.
Phins always seem to have bad injuries when they play Tampa Bay. Unfortunately, we play them pretty much every preseason. I cringe all the way through that game every year. It's even worse when we play them during the real season.

It was a major snoooze. When the Cowboys finally got a TD late in the game, I said "Thank God!" and then changed the channel.

I admit that I didn't watch until the very end either. I had a throbbing earache and was unable to enjoy anything. It was hell just trying to get some sleep.

I can't believe you haven't taken care of that ear ache, Em. It is nothing to take lightly! Also, it has been going on so long that there is surely an infection--I'm not much on recommending antibiotics, but I think you need to get started on some, but not without going to the doctor!! Please.
