This Mexican dude was taking a pee on the side of a building and this Texan sees him. After the Mexican is done the texan asks him, "How come you Mexicans don't wash your hands after you pee?"
The Mexican smiles, "Senior, we Mexicans don't piss in our hands..."

Because I refuse to blame the offense for any of the games that we have played so far outside of the Giants game.

Reecey, I completely agree. The offense has scored enough points to win most games. Our pass defense is the worst that I have ever seen in all of my years of watching football. This is in spite of the fact that year after year the Texans have spent their first round draft picks on the defense.

Hey Em. You ready for a OUCHIE moment? Jason Babin (one of our former first round picks) now plays for the Tennessee Titans. And he has 7 sacks as of today. Ain't that a B*!

I can't say that I'm surprised. Year after year we've spent those first round picks on defensive players and we still don't have a defense. They fired the last defensive coordinator, but then they promoted one of his assistants. I was hoping that they would hire a assistant from a dominating defense, like the Eagles or the Steelers.

Blindly denying my point and trying to be a smartass about the issue shows nothing but ignorance. I can clog up this page with links to dozens of articles from sports writers or just plain old fans that have pointed out Kubiak's inept playcalling. Of course, I could also say 2 + 2 = 4 and you would find a way to disagree with that as well, lol.

You and I both know the sports writer from the Houston Press is not a coach. No need to insult me with such an ignorant question. Even if he was, you'd find some other means of avoiding the issue and try to shoot down the credibility of him or anyone else you disagree with. It sounds like if he was a coach, he would clearly have more common sense than Kubiak does. You can try your best to be a blind Kubiak homer and deny any culpability on his part at all costs, but Houston lost the last two games directly due to his inept playcalling, period.

I called out Houston's secondary after week one, and you disagreed, stating it was no big deal because it was Indy, and Houston being last in the league in pass defense was no big deal. After week two, you suddenly saw the light, and Houston's weak secondary has been your rallying cry all season since then.

I know you tend to be a little slow to recognize things, but how many more losses or failed opportunities is it gonna take for you see the light with Kubiak's playcalling being a severe problem too?

Super Serial, one of the rules here is that you can't make personal attacks on the members. That includes calling them ignorant. Just because we disagree doesn't make either one of us smarter or dumber than the other - we just see things differently.

SuperSerial feel free to call the coach ignorant if that is your perspective, but not other members here please.
It's called agree to disagree, now time to move forward.

hahaha...calling em ignorant is like calling me intelligent...differing opinions is what makes blogging enjoyable...having a difference of opinion without belittling someone is what makes swiss...(dred trips and falls off soapbox)

Congratulations on picking the Thursday night game correctly, dred. Last week I picked all of the teams from the left-hand column to win. This week I'm alternating them. I like to use a systematic approach.

The Texans keep finding ways to lose. One the last play of the game one of our defenders bats away a Hail Mary pass into the end zone - right into the hands of a Jaguar player.

Good idea, Reecey. A few less suspensions and injuries would be nice, too.

I really do have to admit. I thought the Pats offense would have ran away with that game and made the Browns one dimensional. It may have been a slight let down of the guard by the Pats players. BUT, we saw the way they bounced back and put the beat down on Pitsburgh. All I could say was WOWEE!!!

I know that coaches always get the blame, but over the past ten years Mack Brown is the winning-est coach in college football.

From 2001 through 2009, Brown has won 10 or more games each year. This is the longest active streak of seasons with 10+ wins in the nation.

Almost every year after the first year of the Texans beginning, they have spent their first round draft picks on defensive players. So why do they have the most non-existent defense ever seen? They aren't just bad, they define a whole new class of badness. My vocabulary of invective in inadequate to describe them.

You can say that again about the Horns. They're gonna finnish with a rating lower than .500....unfathomable :?:

And that Texans defense is beyond putrid. I really do hate watching our corners have to play ten yards back on receivers because they just suck that much.

IE The TD that they let Braylon Edwards catch. You're on the damned 5 yard line, and pre-snap you're lined up damned near at the back of the endzone. Not a safety, a CORNER! I was really Peeved off, but luckily my niece walked up and gave me a hug. This is a very bad year for Texas football as a whole. At least the Aggies are playing better though, and TCU are playing consistantly amongst themselves as well. Outside of that, we can't speak highly of any other Texas football institution. Well, I haven't been paying close attention to Baylor this season.

It's a bad year when the best team in Texas isn't even a BCS team.
