Hey tenn. It's good to see you around here--even though I seem to post at odd hours and haven't bumped into you yet. Hope all is well and you're having a good year. I sure do miss our Fantasy Football League. I'm not in one this year (not that I really did much with my teams--I just felt like I was a cooler person 8-) being in a league  )--so I miss it, duh duh duh...

hey CK...good to see you too. I didn't do the fantasy thing at all this year. I wasn't for sure if I would have the time to put into it. My football knowledge of injuries and such has really been lacking too because of it. When I was in a league I could tell you every week who was hurt and who was starting and all that jazz.......not this year.....I'm lucky just to stay on top of things with the Colts. My sons are getting older and they require a lot of my attention now on the weekends. We have a bowling match and a basketball game tomorrow to go to. I love it, but it can get tiresome :)

I've never been into fantasy football because I was never willing to devote the necessary time to it. For a retired guy with no family left, I seem to stay awfully busy.

Speaking of "Tenn", I wouldn't mind seeing the Tits fall to the Eagles tomorrow. That wouldn't hurt my feelings.

As much as I would like for the AFC South to trump over the NFC East, I do want to hold our standings in the division. So, I want the Eagles to win too, but I picked the Titans as most likely to win. Well, picked them for my Pick 'Em league.

I don't think that any of the teams in the AFC South are going to roll over and play dead. The Titans looked very impressive in their last game.

Don't worry DredWak. Dec. 2nd on Thursday Night Football will be a different story. It will be on.

Today. We must all band together, and lend our support to our neighbors to the north, The Dallas Cowboys, so that they may overcome the younger brother of the evil one! That is Peyton! It's not Eli's fault that he was born the sibling of the Dark Force that is known as #18.

I agree. If Dallas loses this game, I hear the cheerleaders may incorporate headgear into their remaining home games. I sure hope not. That would be a shame.

When I was a young man, I would have been happy to save a few. The older ladies that I date now are quite capable of taking care of themselves.

My wife occasionally gets in situations I have to "save" her from....(I think she does it to keep me on my toes and stoke my ego...lol)

I like independent and assertive women, so they are the kind that I go out with. They are accustomed to having their own place and having things their way there. It makes for very open relationships.

While the Texans and Colts were idle, the Titans moved into first place in the division. They also looked impressive against a good team. Things won't get a lot better next week, when we have to play the Colts again. Then we still have to play the Titans and the Jaguars twice. I hope that the Texans can improve on last seasons 1-5 division record, but their pass defense will have to get a lot better if they are going to make the playoffs.

One good thing about the bye - we didn't hurt ourselves. The Titans moved ahead, but the rest of they division will have a chance to catch up when they have their bye. The Titans are looking strong.

It isn't like they didn't have a chance. When you intercept the first two passes that your opponent throws, you should win. They had a 10-0 lead immediately, but their defense just couldn't do its job.

This was too good not to share. The Texans took a bye week and moved up a spot (from tenth to ninth) in the Fox Sports rankings. At that rate they could take the rest of the season off and they would be ranked first. It shows how silly the rankings are.

ESPN

By Russell Baxter• While the 4-2 Indianapolis Colts have reached the playoffs eight straight years, and over that span have appeared in a pair of Super Bowls, next Monday's meeting vs the Houston Texans may be the team's biggest game in nearly a decade. Racked by injuries and already 0-2 in the division (including a loss at Houston in Week 1), a sweep at the hands of Houston may put QB Peyton Manning and company in a very big hole in a very competitive division.

Game of the decade, lmao. I wonder what network that MNF game is gonna be on.

MNF games are always on ESPN - at least in this part of the world. Not sure I'd call it the game of the decade but it should be a good one... BTW, I for one never expected the Titans to be at 5 - 2, yep, "competitive" division...

The Titans have looked very impressive. I'm scared of them. If the Texans split with everybody in the division this season it will be a big improvement over last year's 1-5 division record.
