Wow, that's quite a montage, ck. I'll have to study it to see how many I can tell are represented.

16Forever, if you saved The Blog Rooms index to reach this site, as I did, you'll have to go to cklaurence.com. There you will find buttons, one of which is labeled Gallery. That will open ck's latest creation.

16 it is. Everybody calls me Em, which is uncomfortably close to Auntie Em in The Wizard of Oz.

Em close only counts in hand grenades, how about Uncle Em?

Hey, if it wasn't all right I would have protested a long time ago. It could be worse. My original choice was Retired. I can imagine what could be done with that.

So like what are you trying to say...no one is interested in the Gallery page I've spent weeks driving my webmaster crazy building? Man, I tried so hard to make it nostalgic, yet current; fun; full of surprises, and in general, cool. For those who think Switzerland is a separate entity--it isn't. It's attached to my website-www.cklaurence.com - just wander over there and saunter over to the Gallery page, check it out, then click on Football Forum and leave me your comments. Pretty please?

There's a lot of that I haven't figured out yet, ck. Some, like the flying beagle, were easy. Some leave me scratching my head. I'm not even sure how many separate people are represented. You may have to post a guide.

Well, Em--I can tell you this...the eagle is our old friend Bobby; Maine, Shadow and Bags are all in pictures with me, as is Sharon Gless. All of my children are there, as well as my doggie, Princess. There are shots from a couple of book signings as well, along with the paintings FX3 did of me, LadyHawk and Ms Bags. I think that pretty well covers it?

How did the wedding dress get left out? I thought that exhaustion would get you before that was resolved. Do you still have an unmarried daughter?

Are you talking about my Em's wedding dress? Me--exhaustion from that? Yes, I still have Abby unmarried. I'm not sure I understood your post completely...

As I recall, there was a lot of trouble with the dress. I think that one was altered wrong and that your daughter didn't like any of the dresses, etc, etc. The one that she wore was lovely. My question about the other daughter was wondering about your going through all of that again. I'm so glad that I was the father of the groom when our son got married.

Em: My daughter (Em) turned into Bridezilla when it came to finding her wedding dress. That just will NOT happen with her sister--she is completely different. We must have gone to 25 wedding shoppes, some just a "peek-in" and Em would go no further. She looked great in everything she deigned to try on, but hated it all with a passion, until they brought her the original Valentino. It was very much the dream dress--very Valentino--with all the flourishes and dreaminess any woman could want in a dress. The shoppe then proceeded to alter it--too tight and too short. They completely ruined it. I was afraid she was going to call the damned wedding off for lack of gown, as it was 4 days before the wedding when she had that final fitting where found out it was no longer an option. She "settled" for the gown she wore, but I though it was so much more Emily than the other.

OMG! Try! I tried so hard, but I'm sure I left out a ton of people. You've been so scarce of late, I guess I just f**ked up (again)!!!! Please accept my apology for now and my promise that as time goes on it will be added to, changed, re-arranged and perhaps even made into more than one page.

Multiple pages would be nice. Then you could do different themes as the occasion suggests.

I'm old enough to be in AARP, but I refuse to join. They want you to pay dues for the privilege of buying their overpriced insurance. They promise to lobby for older people, but they make deals that hurt us instead. No thank you!

I'm a member of a country club. I really don't keep my game up and I don't go to any of the functions because I dislike crowds. I'm a member of a couple of dinner clubs where I can take a partner for dinner and dancing. I enjoy those very much. Nobody wears their hat at the table and there is no loud talk. People leave to answer their cell phones. The bands play old folks music (Sinatra tunes), but some Latin music as well. It all makes for relaxing evenings.

Good morning, ck! I'm starting to get excited about the start of camps. I'm a little apprehensive about the Texans schedule, but I'm SO eager for football to start.
