I guess that I'm not going to get anything to eat around here. I guess that I'd better call for reservations and line something up. I'm in the mood for something Italian.

Oops... and wanted to leave an update -
I can't seem to catch anyone these days but I know most of you will see
Baby and Moma doing great! Doc says any time is ok - baby is strong and healthy and he won't be working to stop progress should it come
He is almost 7 lbs already - has the chubbiest little cheeks and everyone agrees already looks very much like Daddy Shadow!
Despite being due in 4 more weeks.... could really be any time! YAY!!!!!!!!!
Of course you guys will be informed when the youngest Swiss member makes his official entry!

Perhaps we will need to modify the menu around here. I'm not sure what expectant mothers are supposed to eat. Sarah ate whatever she liked, but never very much.

Em...
you wouldn't believe what they try to tell you NOT to eat these days.
No soft cheese, no sandwich meat... no hot dogs ... the list goes on
I craved Italian sandwiches (IN Maine this is a sub-like sandwich with ham, american cheese, pickles, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and italian oil or mayo)
I had one almost every day.... and my son is big, smart and certainly suffered no ill effects from the sandwich meat.
The reason is a fear of listeria ... when was the last time anyone heard of a listeria outbreak?

I will eat whatever you are preparing Em.....
I just can't have sugar because I have gestational diabetes... But even a little cheat here and there seems to be ok now that we have a grip on it.

LOL, I'll have to Google to find out what listeria is. I don't use sugar at all anyway, so it's not a problem. My weakness is for starches. I've pick up the Cajun taste for rice and gravy and I have difficulty controlling it. Here locally an Italian sandwich is made with grilled Italian sausage and sautéed bell peppers, onions and such.

mmmmmm
I'll take that!
And some Tums please!
Of course I will stand by my recommendation that you do NOT have one at a Dolphin game.... especially if you are a Pats fan.
Not sure if they were just trying to poison ME.... but I sure did get sick!

It's been a long time since I've eaten any concession food at a stadium. I'm unwilling to pay that much for indigestion.

I'm afraid that the owner is unavailable at the moment. Maybe if you yelled, "Reecey Stinks," or something he would show up.

What's with that Reeceykins? He opens up a lounge and is never here when we come for a drink. How rude!

It isn't Thanksgiving yet, but perhaps we should fix turkey. There sure are plentiful in the NFL this season.

I'm guessing -
only guessing, because I cannot speak for others - that he saw the drama here and is avoiding it like the plague. It's typically not his scene.

Not much of a crowd here. What do you think would help the most - a free lunch, a band, or a happy hour with half-price drinks?
