This morning we had just enough rain to turn to steam. It will take the crease out of your shorts.

Business seems kind of slow. Maybe some new waitresses would help?

Most of us are not retired...we have to work. And its not football season yet...not even PRE SEASON.

Or was that just a rhetorical question?

It was typical idle bar chatter.

Idle Bar Chatter...

All righty. I was just reading that Tiger Woods is struggling at the AT&T National. It will be a long while before hearing a commentator say “Tiger Woods struggles to come from behind” doesn't make me giggle.

Why is it that some people who have everything want more, just because it's off limits? I've seen men married to very attractive women - attractive in every way - trying to pick up women in bars. Perhaps it was just the alcohol, but isn't there something to in vino veritas?

It's called being SELFISH and taking what you have for granted. People know they shouldn't, but they do anyway. It's the way society has become.

Let's be glad that WE are not in Tiger Woods' cleats... :D

Do we just say that Tiger is screwed on his own Pitard? Okay. Never mind that one. How about, "Home isn't necessarily where the heart is?" Sorry.

I hope that everybody is enjoying a relaxed Saturday morning. Actually, my weekend started yesterday with a barbecue, which is de rigueur here. I prefer Cajun cuisine, but when you're a guest you take what is offered. I don't know if I can handle a long weekend of it, though. At least we are one week closer to football season.

Yes, Em--one week closer to football season, but it should go more quickly after the Fourth. They start with more news about it almost immediately, then camps and ta da! Before you know it, pre-season is upon us. I don't know what it is, but while life goes speeding by more and more quickly as I get older, for some reason, off-season seems to get longer and longer and longer...

Actually, I believe that is true of real lounges, not just virtual ones.
