Cowbodys? Yeah, that's the other Texas team, isn't it? I notice that both of the Texans games with the Cowboys this year are in Houston. I still haven't seen Jerry Jones' new wonder house.

Maybe I can watch a game from the parking lot. Of course, I imagine that you have to buy a space to do that.

There are dimension restrictions, too. Go to the bottom of the page to the Jump to box and select Peaceful Corner. Peace has given better instructions about it than I could give you.

I can't make fun of the Cowboys, because my Texans play them twice this year. I've never understood trash talking your opponents. If you win you can't brag, because you've already said that they are bums and beating bums is nothing to brag about. On the other hand, if you get beat by a team you have called bums, what does that make your team? I played high school football before many of the people here were born, but I still remember what my coach said about learning mutual respect. As long as they show up and give it all they've got, they deserve respect.

I had hoped that my Texans would make the playoffs this year. Then I saw here schedule. We have to play the tough teams in our own division, including the Colts and the Titans, all of the NFC East and everybody else that they could throw at us. We play the Cowboys twice, including preseason. Maybe next year.

So true, Lady. How many times have you and I figured out that even blogging under another name, it comes through eventually. That's how they caught the was-supposed-to-be-dead-or-dying Orange_U_Glad when he went back to Faux after being kicked out of Switzerland (by me).

LOL, Cowboys fans swear that he was trying to throw the ball away! It was one of the best games that I ever saw, with both teams in it all the way. That was a great rivalry, with the division winners going on to win a lot of Super Bowls. There were some pretty good quarterbacks involved, too. I just hope that some day my Texans will be good enough to get something like that going with whoever.

E, it's not us who say he was throwing it away. Montana has said interviews he was throwing it away because he was under pressure. Clark just made an outstanding catch.

Ah yes--that Joe Montana was really something back in the day. A pleasure to watch, but what happened to the Forty-Niners after he (and Coach Walsh) left. Maybe 16 can tell us when they'll be back, hmmmm  ? (I guess about the same thing that happened to the Dolphins when Danny and Shula left, right  ?

With all due respect it will be an interesting season but the West is basically a two horse race - YOU and US.
