A NEW WEEK - JUNE 21ST

I thought I'd start a new week, just to help keep up with the latest thread. Although the latest thread used comes up first on your Topic List, it seemed it might be easier to figure out the latest thread, even if it isn't the last thread used.

I know that must sound complicated... It's just that if the last thread used happens to be one of the team rooms, it could be confusing. This way if we do it weekly, or daily--whichever the Swissies prefer, when it gets busier toward Season, this might be easier--if of course, everyone hasn't retreated to Team Rooms only, lol.

I don't go to the control board at all--I have my administrator and my moderator (Peace) looking out for Switzerland there and I just laugh and play on the boards with everyone else; however, from this view, I learn a lot about structure and Swiss Family preferences and either pass the info along to them or make board moves that I feel are better toward navigating here.

Go to (1) User Control Panel (2) Board Preferences (3) Edit Display Options... switch it to Descending order.

You're very adaptable, BBM. I know you...you'll get used to it if you want to.

The more I post here, the more I like it. I think Plaurence did a great job! I love the fact that you can post on the main thread AND/OR the Team Rooms or any other pages within the site.

At the old Switzerland, we were stuck in the main thread 24x7--on this one, we can pick or choose which of the conversations we want. Maybe, BBM, you're finding this site much more devoted to football, and as you've told us, you don't care about football. If you think about it, this way has a main thread, where the conversations kind of go with whatever the topic du jour is; and separate rooms for the more serious football talk (which I'm thinking will be way busier come the Season). So you actually would be most interested in this thread or the other one (welcoming to the New Switzerland). You would probably never have a reason to visit the football pages. Does that break it down better for you

I know many are confused when they come to this new site, but overall (and this might be a bit on the subjective side ), once they carefully check it out, they like it better than the old Switzerland.
