Looks like its now a 3-way tie for the NFC West division at 2-2 each: Seahawks, Rams and Cardinals. Good grief.

Sorta...when comparing the stats, however, the Cardinals are in first place; the Rams in second place.

Sounds like somebody used to watch Hee Haw. So who do you consider the favorite at this point? It's still anybody's division to win, isn't it?

Emeritus, honestly, there is no favorite in the NFC West. I'm serious. None. It's up for grabs.

That's what I thought, with only a quarter of the games played. One team could get on a roll and run away with it. I'd give the edge to the Seahawks, just because they have an inspirational new coach. Naturally that's just a guess.

Well right now, the only team on a "win streak" is the St. Louis Rams. It's only been 11 years since they had a SuperBowl victory...so they could conceivably "come back."

LOL, don't take it too seriously, 16. It's not worth spoiling your day. By the way, we've had much cooler, clear days lately and everybody is loving it!

Same here Em...lows in the low 50's, highs in the high 70's...much better than the Summer pressure cooker. Cheers! 16

Agreed, 16. I could do with weather like this year around. Actually, what passes for winter around here isn't bad at all, but the long summers are terrible!

Singletary:

"I think the only person that Alex Smith needed to really compete with this year is himself," Singletary said, "and get rid of some of the ghosts that he already has"

Oh for the love of God, gimme a break! BENCH SMITH NOW!

Umm...not in the NFC West, Emeritus. Although the Seahawks could come close since they became "transparent" on Sunday against the Rams.

The Rams for cripe sake!!

Who knows, after years of being the laughingstock of the league, the Rams could be on their way to becoming a power. It looks like the rest of the division is trying to give it to them.

Pretty much. But hey - they did win the Lombardi trophy in 1999 so anything is possible.

I believe Parcells' "choice" of coaches, one Tony Sparano will be available at the end of this season--lest any of you want to put a bid in for him... ;)

We're both due for a great coach to come in and rescue us, I believe. (see 'Just Football'- my last post)...

Cowboys fans already have a grass-roots movement at Facebook to get Cowher as their HC.
