They who? The Seahawks? For the Seahawks - completely unknown this season. I am taking it one game at a time. We've got about 30 new players on the roster this season and a new HC...and of our next 6 games, 4 of them are on the road. Seahawks SUCK on the road so I'm not expecting much the next few games.

For the others - I expect Branch to be fine at the Patriots. Julius Jones - just doesn't have it in him. He didn't for the Cowboys and he was lackluster for the Seahawks.

Yes, I was referring to the Seahawks. It's always interesting to watch a new head coach put his on personality on a team. Do you have any idea what Pete Carroll wants the team to be?

Not a clue. He keeps referring to them as "the organization" as if they are the USC Trojans. I will say this: he is absolutely living by the motto "Earn Everything." Loosely translated: "Play or go home."

I like that attitude. We do our jobs or suffer the consequences. You would think that as much as the pros get paid they would produce, but they all seem to have personal problems. I can think of many great players who quietly excelled, but they are memorable because they were exceptions.

Lots of players aquired in the Holmgren era are being released/trade away by Carroll. Change can be hard, especially if us fans think the player IS producing. We have to trust Coach Carroll with the decisions he is making. As I've stated, I don't have high expectations for this season, but will enjoy any victory we can "earn."

That's so true, LadyHawk. When your team is rebuilding you just have to accept the moves on faith, because overnight changes are not easy.

It's a gorgeous day in Seattle...and because we have a new slough of WRs, Coach Carroll is working with them, Hasselbeck and Whitehurst this afternoon (photo taken within the past hour):

I don't think so. The reason that I asked was because you were able to post a photo of the same day's practice.

Understandable. Here's how: the Seahawks have an official photographer who uploads the photos to the team page on Facebook.

Yes, it was TT. And I am STOKED about our backfield: Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett. Holy crap ~ those 2 had a GREAT day for us. Hasselbeck also had a great day. What a great team effort. It wasn't an ass-kicking by any means, but it was solid.

Given the carries, Lynch can be a BEAST! You guys are looking much better this week and IN THE HUNT! :D

^5^ Unfrigginreal...especially after the beating we took in St. Louis. The Rams are just a better team this season (and San Diego isn't as good as everyone thought).

Vince Lombardi said that the worst thing about losing was that it could become a habit. Once a team accepts losing it is hard to get them to give their utmost to win. That's where good coaching comes it. I think that the Seahawks have found the one that they need in Pete Carroll.

Okung shutting down Peppers making him a non-factor in sundays game was awesome too... come to think of it Ulacher wasn't as much of a problem as he has been to other teams this season either!!

The Seahawk fans gotta be happy having Carroll there and the direction the team is in. Looks like he's laying the foundation for many winning seasons to come. I like it and him, continued success Hawk Nation!
