I guess. While I've seen Coach Carroll do a good job addressing the depth of our team, there is still room for improvement (our WRs need work, as well as our defensive secondary - what else is new?)

I caught part of the game online and thought they looked pretty good HG... I think the Hass may be playing a bit more enthusiasm coming into this season and rightfully so!

The mentality of the team is DEFINITELY different under Pete Carroll. There is TREMENDOUS respect for him. They players DO show more heart on the field. I must repeat, even though we lost the game Saturday (with only 2 minutes to go approx.) it was a very fun game to watch.

How will that affect your team, Lady? Have you depth at that position?

Not really...It does appear that Coach Carroll is making some serious strides at depth on our roster though. Time will tell. Playing the Vikings this Saturday will be a good test for us.

Good luck Saturday night, Lady. Depth is so important. There are players out there who are out to hurt other players, as well as the inadvertent injuries. The way some teams are built, they don't have room to change their game plans, so they are s.o.l. once the first line is out of commission. Wannstadt and a couple of the other Dolphin coaches through our bad luck years didn't seem to understand that premise. Carroll has had time to grow since his last sojourn into NFL football. I hope you reap the benefits...

Going to watch tonight's games - hope you get to feeling better and enjoy your w/e :)

Just be glad you're not a Dolphin fan, Lady. Unfortunately, I DID get to watch the game--up close and personal. Talk about depression...

Ha! No doubt... I went to a party Saturday night, and some of the gals were admiring my pedicure (Seahawks colors!!) and the men (single - lots of them) shrugged and said "I'm not a football fan."

I swear...if I ever have another relationship, it isn't going to be with someone from Seattle. These guys are not meant for me. Totally lame.

C'mon, LadyHawk--there have to be some real men in Seattle! I guess you just have to go to the stadium game day and check them out. (Not that many of the men at games are totally undesirable when considering permanent relationship!)

Not finding them yet, CK...I've done the social scene/single scene/cocktail parties, blah blah blah... The party I was at Saturday night was FULL of eligible, good looking bachelors. Seems they all want stick thin women with zero personality.

That cake is awesome...

It's their loss, Lady. Those marriages don't last, and soon enough men realize their mistakes. You are voluptuous, NOT fat. There's a huge difference! Oh, and those guys need their heads checked--you, with those amazing eyes...are gorgeous!! It is their loss. One day, when you aren't thinking about it, the right guy is going to come into your life...

When the Phins were coached by Shula they regularly lost the four preseason games,, and then they were so good during the season, they most always made it to the playoffs. If we could just turn the clock back...

The past 3 years, the Seahawks have had almost undefeated preseasons and then TANKED in the regular season. So I'm REALLY ok that they have lost 2 out of 3 in this preseason.

I've seen teams lose all 4 in preseason and then go on to the SB. I just hope that the Phins have something up their sleeves and are just "funnin'" us, lol.

Preseason is tantamount to scrimmage and just seeing what the new boys can do...like "try outs." Don't worry...

I understand that, yet I think there should be a level of comfort by the third preseason game between the #1 QB and his gazillion dollar receiver. There was none. In fact, Ricky Williams was the only one on the field that impressed me. (((((((Grimmacing because she can see the looks on everyone's face--"Yeah, yeah, what a surprise. She is happy with Ricky Williams' performance...)))))
