They need somebody in charge who will make them play up to the level of their talent. Vince Lombardi said that the worst thing about losing was that it got to be a habit. When the players start accepting losses, the team is finished.

It's what happens to any group without leadership. You can't play football by committee. Of course, there's a good chance that I have it all wrong.
