When we post a topic... if you don't like the subject then move on.. and don't post. Coming on to a post such as... umm.. i don't know... Get out and Vote.. and you turn it into a political statement.. then shame on you....

and its even worse coming into a topic and telling the poster to be quiet... if you don't like the post then move on....

I think we're all on the same page now. I did open up a topic board with an itsy bitsy teeny weeny nearly minuscule note to my dear Swiss family. I hope you will all read it--it shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 days if you don't take any breaks-- to get through it...

The only problem that I ever had with Russian novels had to do with the names. The convention was to give all of the boys in a family the same patronymic middle name. The authors would call their characters sometimes by their first names, sometimes by their middle names and sometimes by their last names, which was confusing. When there were brothers is was sometimes unfathomable. The Brothers Karamazov was the best novel that I ever read, but sometimes it was maddening trying to decide which brother Dostoevsky was talking about.
