It's our bye week, so I think that I'll follow Baglady's example and sit this one out.

I must have missed Baglady saying that she was sitting this week out? Was that on another topic somewhere?
In any case, we welcome all pickers.

Good Luck

C.K.'s PROGNOSTICATIONS - WEEK 7

Falcons - coin toss :)
Ravens - I always bet against our divisional enemies
Niners - I just feel so bad for 16
Bears - I'm just a little pissed at Kat for letting me down
Jaguars - Coin toss (AGAIN  /)
D <3 lphins - Believe me. It is NOT because I believe we are going to win! :?

Browns - I guess I'd just like to see an upset
Rams - I just don't like the Bucs! :P
Titans - Or the Eagles. ;)
Seahawks - Pete Carroll is such a sweetie pie. :o
Broncos - They really need a win, if you know what I'm sayin'--
Chargers - I always bet against our divisional enemies (still) (with apologies to PAO and the kitty)
Vikings - In the hopes they haven't suspended Favre--oh, and I'll have plenty to say on that as well! :x
Giants - Don't like the Cowboys (still  ), but I really love Ms Bags <3

Okay. Another week of lousy picks. Who won Week 6, anyway? Or do I even have to ask???? (Congrats, Bags <3 )

Holy moly, Try--that's some nice score. I don't believe I've seen Listen Up around. I remember him/her signing up quite awhile back, but hadn't seen any posts. Next thing I know he/she shares the winner's circle with you for week 6? Hmmmm. I can't seem to get out of my own way on the picks this year, which is unusual, as I'm usually pretty much on target. This year I'm more 'wishing' than 'betting.' Can't help it--just the way I'm thinking this year... :?

Aha! There you are, ListenUp! Good to see you around a little more often now. I don't need your help to make me look bad on our picks each week  ; nevertheless, I'm pleased to see you on a more regular basis! ;)

Good evening, ListenUp. At last we meet! ;) I always hope to see some of our oldie-goldies here when I'm on later at night. There was a time when Reecey, PAO, kicks, TT and a whole bunch of others were here late every night. I couldn't wait to get here in the a.m. to read back over the posts. My sides would be hurting from laughter when reading back.

Bags is some special lady. I thought I remembered her mentioning you to me. I'm going out there to see her in a couple of weeks. She was kind enough to invite me to watch Peyton & Co., and of course, I jumped at the chance!

Bengals Vs Falcons Bengals
Mr. 85 is vowing to bring back his old self and show us that it is still the National Fun League. This could mean the dynamic duo of Palmer and Johnson shines through this week. I am betting on it.

Bills Vs Ravens Ravens
These are some tough birds. The Bills have made great strides, but do not have enough tools on their arsenal to top one of the best teams in the NFL.

49ers Vs Panthers 49ers
This pick is based 100% on the fact that the Panthers seem to refuse to win and I refuse to pick them.

Redskins Vs Bear Redskins
How bout that McNabb? Looks like he has found a happy home and his playing shows it. On the other hand the Chicago police have put out an all points bulletin for the disappearance of their offensive line. 19 sacks in two games is definitely a call to action something has to change.

Jaguars Vs Chiefs Chiefs
The Arrowhead Advantage will lead the Chiefs to victory. This stadium was rebuilt to create the ultimate home field advantage. The smell of BBQ and the roar of the crowd, Jerry Jones should take some pointers from the folks in Kansas City. The Jaguars will play a great game, but the Chiefs will hold them at bay.

Steelers Vs Dolphins Steelers
The Dolphins offense is not meshing and the Steelers defense is to stout to be overlooked. I wish the Dolphins luck, but Big Ben is looking to redeem himself to the fans of the nation. If the Phins can muster the Henne to Marshall magic that we have not seen yet this could go their way.

Browns Vs Saints Saints
The Saints appear to be finding their groove after a shaky early season with the loss of Reggie Bush. The Browns are slightly improved, but it is too tough to beat the Saints marching on home turf.

Rams Vs Buccaneers Bucs
I am sailing solo here like a pirate without a compass. I have no internet so no researching and a coin toss helped here, yet in my heart I want to say Rams and Bradford. In my mind I say Bucs no idea why just that it seems like they should do well.

Eagles Vs Titans Eagles
Kolb is in a fight to prove he is the starter for the Eagles. Vick is healing, but with Andy Reid still waffling every week over who the starting quarterback will be there is an extra incentive to win.

Cardinals Vs Seahawks Cardinals
These two teams are all over the place this year. They are evenly matched, in my opinion, but the Cards seem to be playing with a little more enthusiasm. The early shake ups at quarterback seem to have calmed with Hall stepping in. This will be a hard fought game to beat the Seahawks at Qwest and the Cards are going to need their A game of a few weeks back.

Raiders Vs Broncos Broncos
The Broncos are starting to play incredible football. They nearly beat the Jets arguably one of the best teams in the NFL and could have won if not for questionable officiating. Moreno is back and showed why he was missed so much on offense. The near absence of Lloyd was answered by the great plays of their rookie Thomas. As long as the defense keeps improving as they have been the Broncos are my lock of the week.

Patriots Vs Chargers Patriots
There were a few concerns last week on the Patriot’s play calling, but those issues were adjusted by the second half. The growing pains were expected with the new look of the Pat’s receiving squad. Deion Branch enjoyed a welcome home and played like he never left. The chemistry between Brady and Branch is still there and the excitement is back.

Vikings Vs Packers Vikings
These divisional rivals face off again as Moss and Favre compete on the same team for the first time at Lambeau. The Vikings will be super-charges to win this game. The Pack is suffering from far too many injuries and is not the team that most expected to see in the Super Bowl.

Giants Vs Cowboys Giants
What does one billion dollars buy you these days? Not much, a really nifty stadium, a super big TV and a team with no synergy. The Giants are not much better, but are putting forth a bit more effort. The Cowboys need to make some major adjustments particularly in the area of coaching.

Sorry to a bunch of you for picking against your teams... The Phin Phaithfuls, those of the Blue Star and all of you Hawkians... Consider it a great sign I picked against you almost guarantees a win lol~!

HINT: I had to pick the Dolphins because they are my Dolphins--everyone else? I believe you've got a good bet if you go with Pittsburgh. No offense for the Fins, and they haven't yet won a home game. Bad mojo in Miami. Or should I say NO mojo  ???

Thanks for the correction, Lady. My memory is shot. I can remember things happening, but not when they happened. I guess that I've lived long enough that more things have happened than I have memory.

Bengals (picking the underdog, I think Bengals have to put together a complete game here soon)
Ravens (no brainer)
Niners (it is the Panthers)
Redskins (I think the Bear O-line is going to get tested again)
Chiefs (still not 100% believing in the Chiefs, but home field gets this one)
Steelers (I'd be happy with 0-14 this week to be wrong on this one)
Saints (just can't see the Saints losing this one)
Rams (seriously just did a coin flip)
Eagles (taking the dog on this one too, even away and not knowing who will actually QB)
Seahawks (12th & 13th man)
Broncos (have I told you that I hate the Raiders?)
Patriots (I'd love for the Chargers to play a complete game and make me wrong)
Vikings (taking the dog away and think the old man will rise yet again)
Cowboys (heads will roll on another divisional loss at home)

Em, it's all good - I may be taking a "bye" from now on if I don't improve my picks - strange season w/ no real dominant team - imo...

Pollster, um, looks to me like Reecey picked "Cincinnati" as in the Bengals. Just sayin... He's on his own for the Bills @ Ravens game.

Reecey only needs to pick the Ravens/Bills game unless the Bengals moved from Cincinnati??
