"Bartender, I'll have a double Roy Rogers" sounds really gay.

Why are people ordering drinks (sissy or otherwise  ) here rather than in the lounge? Really, we have THE LOUNGE for that type of fraternizing, helllooooo?

Hiya Rox! LTNS, glad you found the home and I'm sure that you'll like it once you get a hang of it. It has more options than OS. (Old Swiss)
It seems to help to read through the "Peaceful Corner" forum where there are some help topics for those that need them. Talk to you later, off to make another nickle....

looks different. can't stay too long but just wanted to check in, say "hi" . I lost my job last Aug so I had no computer but almost one year later I am working again. Its been tough but I'm working my way back. Almost lost my house but that is now back on track, my credit is in the toilet, but that will fix itself in time. I will get a picture up when I have more time.
Take care, Rroxie

I'm glad that you came by, Reecey. You've been missed! I'm a little worried about the Texans schedule this year, but I guess that we will get a chance to see if they are making progress.

Good morning, sports fans. 16, either of those numbers can be worn with pride. I had years of enjoyment watching both of them play. Jerry Rice might have been the best football player at any position ever. Watching him catch one over the middle and take it down field was thrilling. On the other hand, Montana was the coolest guy that I ever saw. The more dire the circumstance, the more relaxed he looked. So many times I've seen them needing to score only to have the pass fall incomplete. Sometimes it was because Montana hadn't thrown a good pass. You could see him grin. Then he'd step back and throw one for a touchdown. The Forty-niners were never out of a game when he was playing. The only other guy who inspired that feeling in me was Roger Staubach.

If they can somehow manage to contain those two huge egos on the field at the same time, they're going to be hard to cover.... they already got a bromance going so who knows.

Hey everyone! My dad IS home and doing about 300 per cent better--we are all very encouraged to see him back to himself again.

Now I want to see some serious football talk over here. I go over to FB to see what's happening, and what do I see? Tons of football talk. Kind of disheartening to me to see it all over there. Well, at least I know it wasn't the format of the Olde Swiss that was a problem, lol.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words about my dad. We are so relieved that the mess from last week was just a one-time problem, and it's great to call his house and hear him answer the phone. You all are a tremendous support group and I love you for that!

ck, I won't be going to Face Book to talk football - or anything else, for that matter. I notice that the Texans just made Andre Johnson the highest-paid wide receiver in football. Personally, I'd much rather have him than Ocho and TO combined. Andre does his talking with his play, which is why he's led the NFL in receiving the past two years. He's a great down field blocker, too, which is one advantage to having a BIG wide receiver.

There's a link on the MSN home page about a waitress who was fired from her job for a Face Book rant. It turns out that employers are monitoring Face Book posts and taking disciplinary action against employees for violations of company policy that have never been stated.

I sent you smail, Em. I wish the notification here was more obvious. The only thing that happens to let you know you have smail is that "0 new messages" turns red and becomes "1 new message." Unless you are looking specifically for smail, you won't notice it. I kind of need a smack in the face, or some other not-so-subtle voice  .
