From what I'm seeing, it seems the Hawks fans are mostly on board with it. Most love Matt but want to see if Charlie is worth the cabbage the Seahawks are paying him.

He'll do fine with a couple of Xanex in his Gatorade.

So what exactly is Xanex? I've heard the word, but I don't watch commercials.

Seahawks v Giants

Postby LadyHawk » Fri Nov 05, 2010 11:03 am

Hey, I wanna have a brief break from football reality and predict that on Sunday, QB Charlie Whitehurst goes 18-25, 255yds, 3 TD's, 0 INTs and 35 yards rushing...

*Peaceful Sigh*

Ok...I'm done now.

What is the latest on Hasselbeck, LadyHawk? Have they released anything about how his recovery is going?

Haven't seen any update. But Emeritus - he had THAT KIND OF DAY with his left hand broken/wrapped up. He's a tougher player than some people give him credit for.

Actually tied for 1st ... but the Rams have an edge over us because they beat us already. We're in the WORST division in the NFL. The Dolphins are in (arguably) the toughest division, and holding their own at 6-5 (and ranked around #15 in the NFL). It's not a sexy record by any means, but its sure not the Bills or Panthers.

Bills are a better team than their record shows too. Kinda like when my Phins went 1 - 15, yet lost 6 games by 3 points or less...

They just didn't know how to lose. My Texans always lose convincingly, usually to a Hail Mary pass on the last play of the game.

Thank GOODNESS the Seahawks woke up in the second half of today's game against the Panthers. 31-14 ... solid win. Still tied for 1st place in the NFC Worst Division.

Well, it was the 1-11 Panthers for cripe's sake. It BETTER have been an "outstanding" win. My gawd...at the end of the first half I was concerned!!

Congratulations on the win. Frankly, I picked the Panthers because I though that they were due one of those inexplicable wins that happen every season. Maybe someday I will figure this stuff out.

With the Jekyll/Hyde way the Hawks have been playing, anything is possible Emeritus so I don't blame you for trying something "different."

I think that the Browns are a better team than most people realize. I believe that if Colt McCoy hadn't been injured they would have surprised a lot of people. Mike Holmgren knows how to build a team. I expect John Gruden to take the head coaching job there.

Gruden. Well if that happens, it won't happen until 2012 since Gruden has a contract with ESPN through the 2011 season. And the players' union advised the players last week to save their last 3 paychecks of THIS season in anticipation of their being a lockout next year... no 2011 season.

Hasselbeck runs in for a TD and injures his hip in the process. In goes back up QB Charlie Whitehurst. *Sigh* I don't like dissing my own team players, but perhaps he should change his last name to

WHITE HEARSE

Cuz he's plays DEAD on the field. And he's KILLING ME!!!

I'm heading to Qwest Field for Sunday Night Football. Trying to keep the faith - not easy with Whitehurst at the helm. We will need a miracle to pull this off.
