I wonder what factors are involved in becoming that ugly. It's more than age or dissipation. Perhaps it's an evil life, like the picture of Dorian Gray.

Sorry. I agree that it isn't something to encounter right after lunch, but there's a sort of morbid fascination about it. It like passing an accident and trying not to look. Besides, it makes me more comfortable with being a homely man.

Rule Number 1. Cheating is Encouraged.
Rule Number 2. Revisit Rule Number 1.

That was more ideal with the Classic Raiders, rather than the Modern Raiders. Definitely two entirely different sets of beings.
Playoffs? Playoffs? Don't talk to me about Playoffs! I'm just trying to win a game! Playoffs?

Oh man. The old Raiders were a bad bunch of players. I dreaded the Dolphins playing them; however, my seats were in a spot where they would seat players' wives, injured reserve players, and miscellaneous family members of coaches and players. I must say, (believe it or not!!!)--they were the best fans of all the teams! It made for great games, but lots of injuries.

I don't ever remember seeing a picture of you, Em. You can't be THAT homely. All of us have posted our pictures here or at the old Switzerland or over on FaceBook--so can we convince you to post a picture of yourself?

I once posted a photo of myself at the old Switzerland and I posted one at Face Book, while I had a Face Book account. I'm not sorry that nobody remembers. I've had very few photos taken in my lifetime - perhaps a dozen - so there aren't a lot to post. Most of those were from the time when I was overweight. When my wife died I dealt with it by stuffing myself. I had to buy a new wardrobe and then another when I lost it all.

When I took early retirement in September of 2007, they gave me a gold watch. I'm the tall guy. By the way, I haven't scanned anything in a long time and I don't know how to get the picture off the page. I could use some help from somebody more knowledgeable.

LOL, that's something that I've never been called before. Fortunately it was alway my late wife that people noticed. The way for a man to remain invisible is to accompany an attractive woman.

Well unfortunately the men I've dated this year prefer to be in the limelight and show off...I don't date them anymore. LOL

I know that different people have different needs, but that that's not me at all. Sarah dressed well and I was always pleased by the attention that she received.

I don't think that it should be a competition. It never bothered me that there were many things that Sarah and Tom (our son) were better at than me. I was happy for them. It didn't bother me that when Sarah and I disagreed she was almost always right.

More than I can ever say. Sarah and I were a perfect fit - complementary without being enmeshed. I especially miss having her to share things with, if only the enjoyment of a passage that I'm reading.

I don't even dare try to think of what I would do without Peter. He's been my partner and best friend for most of my life. We met in college and have been together from our first date through the good and the bad; through the child bearing and rearing years and on into old age. He is truly the love of my life...

GOOD MORNING, SWITZERLAND!
No, scratch that. GOOD AFTERNOON, SWITZERLAND!
My time clock is a titch off. I got up early to go walking with my friend Joy, and crashed when I came home, lol. It's a start, though--and I am sticking to it! Every a.m., regardless of the nearly unbearable heat here, I am going out and walking. I've committed to it, and so long as I don't get committed, I won't be deterred...
