Three games into the season, the single biggest issue which concerns the Texans is the play of the defensive backs. While the offense has allowed 11 sacks-second most in the league-the pass defense still ranks as the glaring weakness. The Texans lead the NFL in passing yards allowed with 1106. It’s a total so astonishing, the 1106 yards are the most allowed by an NFL team after three games since 1950.

I am kinda missing this guy right about now.

"LMFAO J Russel = almost a guaranteed victory for the other team. I don't know why the team is just figuring out that their back up is their best option at QB. Hell, he won the job outright three years in a row just to have the coaching staff give it right back to J Russel, and then to give it to J Cambell this year. Cambell is no slouch, but he plays the position too fearfully. He only throws to his tight end and the backs. WR'S ARE ON THE FIELD FOR A REASON CAMBELL! At least Gradkowski knows that, and does that!"

Yeah, I used to love watching JaCarcus throw the ball. The hotdog boy in row 52 had a better chance to catch his passes than his receivers. That guy couldn't hit the side of a barn with a football.

But, he's filthy rich now, courtesy of Al Davis. Good for him. It's the American way, lol.

It was fun, like watching a game of hot potato. He liked to take his receivers by surprise, apparently. Great arm, but comically inaccurate.

It was like watching someone miss all of practice during the week, team meetings, and film sessions. He would get out on the field, and looked flabbergasted by the simplest sets. And instead of throwing in the holes of the zones, he did a great job of throwing straight to the defender. Have yall seen his TD/INT ratio? WOOOWEEE!!! It is TERRIBLE!

What is a shame is that he throws beautiful spirals. You couldn't ask for a prettier throw, and he had a cannon, too!

We are still in a tie for first place in the division, but we lost a great chance to stay one game ahead. Unless the secondary improves the Texans will go nowhere. No team has given up as many passing yards in three games since 1950.

Yeah, Dolphins would have been sitting pretty on top of our division had we stayed solid and beat the Jets. Losing to the Jets at home--man, that hurt! I couldn't even think about it for two whole days. Wouldn't watch any of the post game shows. Today, actually, was the first day I looked at The NFL Channel. Fortunately they were talking about other teams--namely (DUH) Green Bay, Cowboys, Philly--are there any other teams this season??????

Those are certainly the teams that the media focuses on. Personally, I'm amazed at the Bears. Their defense is playing like the old Bears and Cutler has given them some offense. If they knocked out the Packers and the Vikings I would love it!

There's an article link on the Texans page at Fox "Texans cornerbacks feeling the weight of the NFL's worst pass defense." I hope to goodness they are feeling the weight of it! We have a pretty good pass rush and the defensive backs are killing us. They need to feel the weight of somebody's boot kicking their asses.

I miss Reecey when he doesn't come around though. I can't wait to meet him later this month up in Indy. I've been wanting to meet him since our Diva Weekend. He held the honored of most drunk dialed calls, and I got to hear his amazing, rich laughter. You hear that laugh and you just know he's a wonderful person!

Hello Texans fans. Just got back from a two day business trip to Denver.

Watched the A & M / OSU game last night. What a great game.

Hey, SS. Glad that you got back OK. I didn't catch the game, but I hope that A&M didn't get embarrassed the way that UT did last Sunday.

A & M took a commanding lead early, then the Cowboys came back and distanced themselves from the Aggies, then the Aggies tied it up. Then OSU kicked a FG to win with no time left on the clock 38-35. A touchdown fest for sure.

The Longhorns are struggling for the second week in a row. Rice plays SMU at 7 pm and I'll try to pull them through.

It's only one-fourth through the season, but we're back to a full game lead over the rest of the AFC South. It probably won't last, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

I'm going to enjoy having a one-game lead in our division and not worry about the rest of the season. I never let concern about tomorrow spoil my enjoyment of today.

Too bad more people can't take that attitude...they do love their drama.

I'm happy to leave the drama to others. I've found that if I don't seek attention or try to control other people, I can avoid upsets and be happy.
