Sorry--it got to be Dolphin Central here after the win! Because I'm a little hobbled today, people have come to bring game tidings and the phone hasn't stopped! I wanted to be able to talk a little longer with you, kick and stevie--our newest family members in The New Switzerland. Can't tell you what a joy it is to have you back again. Hope I'll see you often...

You think you are kidding, but I have to tell you dred, it's the oddest feeling. I guess it's my age, and maybe it has something to do with my arachnoiditis, but after having the knots in my stomach throughout the game (which mercifully was only about 3 hours--not one of those dragged out affairs that goes on and on and on for nearly 4 hours--I am downright beat. I don't feel relief because we won, or joy--I just feel numb. Oh, and I have the headache from hell!

BTW, I don't know if any of you remember me talking about how we got rid of everything but basic cable as a "cost cutter." We did that before summertime, and I kept anguishing about not having The NFL Channel during the season this year, and missing all the games that they broadcast toward the middle and through the end of the season (and if you don't have NFL Channel you are S.O.L.). Well, I was thinking the other day, and realized that I was saving for what? My old age?Well, dammit, old age is here! This is the time I might as well start enjoying what I have, because who know how much longer I'll be here to enjoy it? I called them and they were out the next morning to hook me up. First think I did was turn on The NFL Channel. It completed me.

Hey stevie (if you're *hoovering by any chance ;) )--I'm sorry for your loss today. I hate to see those damned Jets win EVER! Lucky us--we get to see your Patriots next week. The only good thing I can see about that game is the Steak tailgate party, lol. I know your boys are coming down here with a real nasty desire to atone for this week... :!:

I have a bad feeling about next week. The Cowboys will come to town with their backs against the wall. This is teams so talented that a lot of people were picking them for the Super Bowl. I'm just glad that for at least one week the Texans are alone in first place in the AFC South.

Feels good, doesn't it? I can't remember last time the Fin's were in first place OR 2 and OH! I'm not going to deceive myself, though. It is really early in our season, and things change too quickly in the NFL!

The thing is though E, the Texans LOVE to beat Dallas. They feel that they don't get the respect they deserve in their own state, so they would love nothing more than to beat Dallas. Dallas is just a huge mess right now.

Ummm CK, we play the Jets next week not the Patriots. They come to our home for the Sunday night game and I would much rather play the Jets next week than the Patriots! The Patriots will probably take their anger out on the Bills something fierce!
The Patriots come to us the week after for Monday Night football!!

Hey Dred buddy, was it cancerous and how old is Koko? I've lost a couple of dogs after having them for a long time and it's never easy. I hope Koko has many more years left in him.

They're a smart breed and fast as hell most of the time... I participate in a sport called "Flyball" and the worlds fastest team of four dogs has 1 of them on it.

GOOD AFTERNOON SWITZERLAND!

Well--live by the computer, die by the computer. Yesterday our router died and I was w/o Internet access all day. I was crippled! Couldn't check my bank account, email, FB and most of all SWITZERLAND! Talk about being miserable--grrrrrrrrGRRRRRRR... My son Zach went and bought a new one last night, but he got a cheapy, and my computer refuses too hook up with it. I am stuck using my hubby's comp when he's not here. Bummer....

Sorry I missed everyone--look forward to catching you later on...
